A Fox News Poll released Wednesday shows that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Planned Parenthood, ObamaCare, and Vice President Mike Pence are all viewed more favorably than President Trump.
The poll of 1,008 registered voters was conducted March 12 to 14. It found that 43 percent approve and 51 percent disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president, with 30 percent strongly approving and 45 percent strongly disapproving.
Respondents were also asked to say if they had a favorable or unfavorable opinion of several people, groups, and items, and Sanders came out on top, with 61 percent having a favorable reaction and 32 percent unfavorable, followed by Planned Parenthood (57 percent favorable, 32 percent unfavorable); ObamaCare (50 percent favorable, 47 percent unfavorable); and Pence (47 percent favorable, 43 percent unfavorable). Only 44 percent had a favorable view of Trump, while 53 percent had an unfavorable view.

If Trump were to do only one thing during his presidency, 33 percent want him to create jobs, 23 percent want him to destroy the Islamic State, 10 percent want him to cut taxes, 9 percent would like to see him repeal and replace ObamaCare, 3 percent want him to reduce federal regulations, and 3 percent want him to build a border wall.
33 percent want you to make jobs
23 percent want you to destroy Islamic State
3 percent want him to build a useless wall
Trump: Build the Wall
so much for creating non-construction jobs
Who doesn't love that awesome Jew?
He's great.
it speaks volumes for what a good candidate Bernie was that he's considered more favourable than the actual recently elected president
I've had so many political discussions with Trump supporters who flat-out say to me that if Bernie had won the primaries, they would've voted for him instead. There's a guy who comes in now and then to the restaurant I work at and always wants to chat about politics, so I go for it - he voted for Trump because he's a farmer who likes his guns, but he told me explicitly that he would've voted for Bernie if he was on the ballot.
Bernie has such an absurd level of appeal across all groups because everyone can plainly recognize how genuine he is. If he's around to run in 2020, and he decides to (despite his age), I'm convinced it could be an absolute landslide in his favor. He's well-spoken, he's dedicated, he's passionate, he's funny, he's absolutely genuine. He comes across as a real human, not a robotic politician spouting out focus-grouped catch-phrases to pull in votes. Plus, his policy positions are pretty accessible to the average American.

Some people thought Bernie was a flavor of the month counter candidate who would fizzle back to the shadows once it was all over. I was honestly kind of scared he would, but people really do love him and hes still out there fighting for the shit he believes in. The only bad thing people even have to say about him is his financial solutions aren't the best which I can agree on, or meme shit like "muh summer home mansion" or "cucked by BLM" aka shit that's not even true.

though part of me worries that these people wouldn't then vote in downballot elections like he told them to, making for a bunch of disillusioned pissbabies ripe for the blue dog democrats to pick up
i saw fox spin these numbers this morning. "well if you add up all the approve, unsure and no opinion you get 48% which means the prez is still very popular!" but they tossed out the 51% disapproval rate without a thought
Wait.
Pence is how popular?

All this, and his record is near flawless. In every way that Hillary was not (Her flip-flopping on positions frequently throughout her career, depending on which way the wind was blowing, so to speak) he has been consistent and steady in his principles, which is the sort of thing that you can't make up, no matter how good an actor you are.
Wait.
Pence is how popular?
People are willing to overlook Pence's history of trying to build a state-run media outlet to hide from facts he didn't like, selling out people's livelihoods for petty change from the tobacco industry, and causing an AIDS epidemic in Indiana because he at least isn't as retarded as Trump.
Such is the state of American politics.

Anybody looks good next to the worst president in US history.

pence is a steaming turd, but when you put him next to the meme supreme orange, suddenly he starts to look more like off-brand fertilizer.
How many jobs would it create if he decided to replace every single powerplant with a clean alternative and to provide training to candidates to operate such equipment.
I think the reason why Bernie appealed to so many conservatives is because he isn't a hardcore Democrat. Sure he's very liberal, but he also doesn't subscribe to the outdated Democrat agenda like Hillary did.

It would make millions of jobs in manufacturing alone, and since energy needs are always growing and tech always improving, a large amount of those jobs would remain for quite some time

Does it speak for Bernie, or does it speak for how shitty Trump is? :v:

Bernie is a self-described socialist so polling that high in America absolutely speaks for him
It's fucking insane how much the world "socialist" triggers anyone older than 35, but I guess that is what happens when you are brainwashed by cold war propaganda

We literally had the chance for a Jew who used to be a carpenter and wants to help the sick and disabled and take the super-wealthy elite down a peg to become President.
And yet, here we are.

not to mention all the trained workers who would massively offset the fucking crazy amount of skilled machineists and other factory workers that are about to retire. my plant alone has probably more than half the floor workers about to retire in the next 5 years and we have a massive shortage of people skilled to operate metalworking equipment

Oh, how I wish that were true.
When asked for his opinion of Bernie, my father sneers in contempt and describes him as "Hillary without tits."
