I don't think it's fair to leave out the bit where she clarifies her position and says the truth can [I]fuel[/I] hate speech, which is a more reasonable premise.

Facts and statistics aren't inherently racist (caveat: when the sampling method is broken and the study on a whole is biased to get the results the authors want, they aren't facts in the first place), but the interpretation of the facts can be.

Like if you say "Muslim immigrants are more likely to be involved in a violent crime", it's hateful if you're saying it with the intent of bringing across the point "muslims are evil and gonna kill you deport them" instead of looking at the social circumstances (poverty, marginalization, social oppression at the hands of the people who say "muslims are evil and gonna kill you deport them" backed up by the silent majority...) that lead this to be the case.

Also this youtube account. Dude is obsessed with the "counter-jihad", and named himself Vlad Tepes. Like, I know Vlad fought the Ottoman Empire (so that's why dude picked the name, because Vlad thus represents killing brown people), but I mean, that's not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of old Vlad...

I always find the anti-immigrant/anti-muslim types to be hilarious because they 9 times out of 10 pick someone like Vlad Tepes and say "Well dude I'm just trying to stop the violent horde of scary brownies" when they worship individuals who are far worse than the scary brownies.
