Why? I know it's cool to hate macs but Apple's a great company and has done a lot for technology. Their only problem is their hardware is overpriced.
Didn't expect that.
I heard he got cancer of some sort.
Maybe this'll lead to better choices down the road in the company, though that is an optimistic thought.

Yeah, I'm not sure why people are so surprised.
Maybe, just maybe, he resigned over the fact that he was again all these frivolous lawsuits being filed at an attempt to make Apple even more dominant. Jobs just wanted to make a better product, not drive out competitors.
Or it could be over his health issues. That too.
