Never seen this tech before. I love it. http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2010/01/world/haiti.360/index.3.html
"Oh Wow!" Genuine first reaction. (To the technology not the suffering people...)
It's a ghetto solution but it's not that compliated tech. It's why there's a black spot on the roof of the car.
It may not be that complicated but you still don't see it particularly often. You must admit it is neat to use.
Pretty damn cool.
Thread is now about technology used in video and not contents of video.
I was just impressed with how seamless it was. I was surprised when the video kept playing even while I was changing perspectives.
Yeah i posted more to show the tech rather than the earthquake. Not that i don't care, but this video doesn't show the true damage it did.
Isn't that how they did google street view?
Reminded me of the opening to cod4.
i lold at haiti
That's pretty neat. On the topic of Haiti, I'm hoping someone is putting the sleeping bag I sent to good use :D
That was so fucking cool
This is pretty cool. There's a bunch of them here http://www.immersivemedia.com/demos/index.php
thats amazing
Porn will be revolutionized.
Thread is now about technology used in video and not contents of video.
It was never about Haiti.
I thought this was either: A. A new skateboard move or B. A video game console produced in Haiti
Imagine this technology but less laggier and with movies Holy shit that would kick ass
:iia: [editline]10:49PM[/editline]
Reminded me of the opening to cod4.
Also this
Stupid. I don't care if you rate me bad, but i'm sick and tired of Haiti this and Haiti that. Annoying as fuck. :suicide:
Reminds me of video games a lot.
The first one i saw that used a camera like this was at a concert, It's a really neat way to record events from every angle.
Porn will be revolutionized.
Yeah now you can also see the director yelling directions at the actors :hehe:
These 360° video demos give me an extremely lifelike experience.
That's incredible. The video seem "3dish" while moving the cam.
Is it bad that I was pretending I was on a turret in a jeep, and used my cursor to aim and pretend to shoot them. :ohdear:
This should've been done during a firefight in Iraq.
cool stuff...
I saw this yesterday, i wonder how much space they take up after 5 minutes of recording
