They made a FPS out of a board game. Nothing surprises me nowadays. Edit: Actually, I'd like to see what they could make of Monopoly.
Certainly prettier than most movie video games.
So a board game about tactical placement and attack of ships is turned into a movie about aliens that has a tie-in of a video game that's a fps.
So BattleShip The Game: The Movie: The Game?
The voice acting is the most horrendous I've ever heard and it looks like a bad CoD Clone.
I predict that it's going to cost 60$ and take 4 hours to finish.
that looks terribel SOME GUNS ARE TOO BIG TO CARRY [editline]25th April 2012[/editline] that looks terribel SOME GUNS ARE TOO BIG TO CARRY
That doesn't actually look to bad.
So BattleShip The Game: The Movie: The Game?
michael bay's battleship the official game of the movie
It looks better than the Battle LA game, probably plays better too.
The movie was fun to watch. Movie tie in games are normallyy shit anyways.
Cover peoples faces with masks so you don't have to animate faces
I like how all the characters have their entire face covered by a mask so they didn't have to worry about spending money/time on facial animations.
Actually it doesn't look that bad. Bet it plays like shit though.
That trailer felt a lot like crysis, except shit And that gameplay demo was awful. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but fuck it was bad
hold x to beat the game
The graphics and gameplay looked really bad/bland. It was like looking at a Halo 2 mod.
EVERYONE has their face covered so they don't have to do any facial animation.
Not horrible, but nothing new or exciting. Over all I'd rate it a meh/10
looks like a F2P game.
They made a FPS out of a board game. Nothing surprises me nowadays. Edit: Actually, I'd like to see what they could make of Monopoly.
Did you even read the title?
The movie was fun to watch. Movie tie in games are normallyy shit anyways.
But Kung Fu Panda's game was the shit.
Did you even read the title?
Yes. I meant by proxy; I knew it was a spinoff of the movie, but the movie is based on the game and the FPS is based on the movie, ergo the FPS is based on the game. I'm sure there's some kind of logical fallacy in there but I don't really care.
The quotes in the trailer were terrible "Battleship is certainly an unexpected take on the property..." "An unconventional first person shooter" That's like when I'm trying to give criticism to a friend of mine on something they've made and I try to break it to them nicely that what they've made sucks.
At least the got the Navy Camo half right. I dont know why they got dumbasses in woodlands because navy camo is a blue digital camo. It looks like it has graphics comparable to BF2 or 1942.

Guys have you heard? Some crazy company decided to make a -board game- out of this movie... Those crazy fools.
I predict that it's going to cost 60$ and take 4 hours to finish.
I looks like it'll be similar to the Battle LA tie-in, so it'll probably cost like 10 bucks or something.
The voice acting is the most horrendous I've ever heard and it looks like a bad CoD Clone.
How the hell does it look like a CoD clone? oh wait, it's a first person shooter.
