YES. Edit: http://kotaku.com/surprise-dying-light-is-a-new-free-running-first-perso-509480939 It looks pretty nice, but of course I'm going to wait for some gameplay as well.
gimme gimme gimme
"Techland" remember when everyone thought dead island was going to be awesome
gimme gimme gimme
You don't even know what the gameplay is like
Love the concept, but I will never "want" before seeing gameplay. Final Fantasy and Dead Island are too fresh in my memory.
Honestly this is how dead island all began, super epic tethrical trailer that hyped us all and then game was nowhere near like the trailer
thought it looked kinda dull but the ending surprised me
What's up with the Cole Macgrath look? He wields a stun baton like him too.
Well that was shit. It's just some nameless guy running from zombies to get to some supply drop, only to be whacked in the head followed up by some irrelevant quote by Edward Murrow.
looking at pictures on that kotaku page makes me think dead island
doesn't interest me at all
"Techland" remember when everyone thought dead island was going to be awesome
I loved Dead Island :<
"Techland" remember when everyone thought dead island was going to be awesome
Warner Bros is a part of it too though, so it might not be as average (To some 'as shit') as Dead Island was.
This is Woodkid, right? I recgonize that "TWAHHH" thing at the end of the weird part with the tappy insturments. TWAAHH like, from I love you.
Liked the music, but will definitely wait for gameplay before deciding anything.
Oh boy! ANOTHER zombie game!!
Woodkid music, a++
I'm on the fences about this game, I'm of coarse going to have to see game play.. Goddamn it Dead Island.
Looks like Dead Island/Mirrors Edge put together, and considering the fun I had with both of those, that's not a bad thing at all
They say the zombie market is over saturated, but that's really only because we've yet to see a truly "perfect" zombie game. Something that blends the terrifying, immersive, safe house building, group managing, NPC interacting, cooperative, multiplayer gameplay we all want so badly. So we'll keep getting zombie games. They'll all focus on a few things, but it'll probably be a while before we see one that puts together everything we could ever want. With that said (my opinion of course) I think this looks pretty interesting. Can't wait for some actual gameplay.
Is this made by good Techland or bad Techlend?
Techland is pretty damn good at cinematics I'll give them that.
It looks and feels like AssCreed but with zombies
dead island was pretty great if you had realistic expectations and call of juarez gunslinger was just awesome
They also made Call of Juarez: The Cartel, one of the most unintentionally racist games in the mainstream market and one of the poorest playing games of that release cycle. Dead island was also just mediocre. The gameplay was alright but there was little variation and it feels unfinished. The story line kinda got thrown out half way through the game as you keep talking to yet completely disregard your friends at the lifeguard station. Seriously, the story was a mess.
Honestly, zombie games really don't excite me all that much any more. They can be good, but it will take more than a cinematic trailer featuring the zombies to interest me.
But there are two issues. One is that the timing of this game's announcement is a little awkward, as, given the bloody events in London yesterday, this suddenly doesn't feel like a very appealing fantasy:
why are kotaku writers literally retarded
Okay the parkour stuff could be fun but jesus christ, ANOTHER Zombie game? Can't we break away from zombies?
Great choice of music (Woodkid is awesome!) and the concept actually sounds interesting and fun.

I'd like to say I'm optimistic about this game doing better, but that crackling electro-wrench reminds me a little too strongly of DI.
