• Duke Nukem Forever Creator Will Take Your Questions Now, No Matter How Stupid
George Broussard, main man at the house the Duke Nukem built—and eventually demolished—3DRealms, is giving his dedicated followers and detractors an open forum in which to ask him almost anything, like "Will Duke Nukem Forever ever see the light of day?" Unfortunately and predictably, Broussard's answer to that question on Formspring is isn't really an answer: "Magic 8-Ball says 'Concentrate and ask again.'" It's doubtful that anyone looking forward to Duke Nukem Forever over the course of its 13-year-long development cycle expected anything more substantial.
Kotaku Ask him now! Haven't seen this anywhere else really. Sorry if it's late or whatever.
Q. I WILL FUCK YOU UP THE ASS FOR DNF A. But, I poop from there.
Fantastic
Fantastic
indeed
I wouldn't want to ask him anything, i would like to tell him how much of a idiot he was and that he should have adjusted to the times. Duke Nukem 3D was their foundation, it brought them in tons of cash and gave them a name. They could have released Duke Nukem Forever in a timely manner and have it being popular. But no instead he kept trying to compare it to other games and make it something it wasn't. He changed game engines 2-3 times, he burnt out his own workers by making them work on so much content and paying them so little. He had no deadlines, no timelines, no milestones, it was a free for all. They where promised a huge bonus once the game was released (like royalties) but that never happened. He should be ashamed of himself, he mislead fans and gamers alike. He let EVERYONE down, including his hard working staff. Now he has nothing to show for all the work he has done, fans of the series are not picky too, we would have been happy just to see good old' duke kicking ass and chewing bubblegum (but he is all out of gum ohshi-). Instead of trying to give everyone the run around and trying to make himself look a little better he needs to explain himself in a interview and admit to his faults and flaws. No words can describe how disappointed i am with him. You had 13 years sir, 13 long fucking years and you couldn't even come up with a final product while using a professional studio with a full staff gaming design team and you failed. Other studios need to learn from this, if they don't and history repeats itself then they deserve their fate. Don't get me wrong, i don't hate the guy. He made one of the best FPS's we've come to know.
I asked him about openpandora

I asked him if he got too ambitious with the development of DNF.
Quite entertaining to read this.
i asked him about his height, weight and girth of his penis

He's a genius for this.
I asked him how big Duke's penis is.
There is almost fifteen years of hype behind this game, it is going to fly off the shelves. He's a genius for this.
Sure, if it ever comes out it is going to fly off the fucking shelves. But it is never going to be released. NEVER. He isn't genius for it, he has made so many mistakes it isn't even funny. He has failed to meet any sort of deadline. Sure games get pushed back by a few months to a year. But almost a decade?
if it ever releases though he will be one rich motherfucker
I asked for the models.
Asked him what his thought on Facebook games were. Just for a short laugh.
There is almost fifteen years of hype behind this game, it is going to fly off the shelves. He's a genius for this.
That's a dangerous bet. It's been so long that the only people who still know what Duke Nukem is are hardcore gamers. And after 15 years a lot of THEM have grown out of playing videogames. So at this point they're pretty much relying on a cult following, one they've disappointed over and over again. That's not the best position to be in.

Valve released a lot of prestigious games after they announced TF2 in 1999, so Valve fans stayed valve fans. 3D Realms didn't, and many fans left them.
We allowed you to shoot them because we wanted a very reactive world. You could interact with tons of items in Duke 3D and you could destroy lots of items and get a reaction from it. We even attached a negative result to the event in that we spawned in aliens when you shot a woman. But the hippies still cried. Their tears were delicious.
Awesome.

Q: Boxers or briefs? A: Boxer briefs. Best of both worlds.. Insightful.
I asked if DNF will be game of the year when it is released.
ANSWER ANY QUESTION?!?! He must have balls of steel.
Valve released a lot of prestigious games after they announced TF2 in 1999, so Valve fans stayed valve fans. 3D Realms didn't, and many fans left them.
I stayed a 3D Realms fan. 3D Realms has always been one of my favorites.
What happened to Allen Blum? Where is he is working now? Allen lives a couple of streets over. On weekends he can often be found shopping for groceries with my girlfriend. As for where he works, he's at FDH@&& $**# $(( NO CARRIER
She's cheating on him. I called it first.
if it ever releases though he will be one rich motherfucker
Not really; people don't give a shit about DNF or Duke Nukem; just hardcore gamers and fans of Duke. I am not included; Duke Nukem was never a great series to me.
" What was the worst flak 3D Realms got for the material featured in DN3D? It was the fact that you could shoot the strippers. We have some newspaper columns framed with nice articles calling us misogynistic, knuckle dragging, destroyers of Western Civilization. It's very easy to upset hippies. We allowed you to shoot them because we wanted a very reactive world. You could interact with tons of items in Duke 3D and you could destroy lots of items and get a reaction from it. We even attached a negative result to the event in that we spawned in aliens when you shot a woman. But the hippies still cried. Their tears were delicious." This guy is Saxton Hale!
Not really; he's some idiot that puts too much detail into his game and had ego issues and spent all his company's money on a wild goose chase known as DNF
