Now that I've come back from my trip with plenty of pictures, I decided I would make a new thread so they would all be much easier to find, instead of having to make people search some random number of pages into another one. I'm not actually sure what it is, although I heard someone mention 'globe' in passing. Don't think so, but it was still neat enough for a picture.

I did not, ended up getting sick and missing out on it. I've had some stuff brought over with an exchange student though, it's not half bad.
Food looks really tasty and Rome looks like an awesome city to visit.

There not quite as impressive at higher resolutions, but I can make an archive and just upload the lot of them.

Dad is in the military, so I lived in Italy for a whole 5 years. From 3rd grade to 7th. Alot of it I took for granted because I was so young, but every saturday me and my friend and his dad would go downtown vicenza and eat pizza at el fauno's. Shit was so good.

Next year with school I'll do the Italy and Sweden journey, I hope we will pass by Rome (We would be missing something).
Nice photos, excellent sculptures as expected from such a place. I never noticed how often the genitalia is missing though. Almost nothing but broken wieners. A shame really.

You're right. It is fucking terrible.
When I was in Italy I ate Pizza at about four different cities, and every time I had it, the shit was flat, had tomato sauce that tasted of ass, and generally had terrible cheese on it.
I went to Rome, Venice, Isle of Capri, Naples. Naples was disappointing but I only stayed there for a day. There isn't much to see there other than artwork which you've already seen enough of while in Italy.

Thin crust is the best, what the hell are you talking about? Maybe you had really bad luck, or you just have Americanized taste buds from all that Pizza Hut and Dominos. Or maybe I'm wrong and it did taste like genuine shit. All I know is that the Italians started it, they should know how its done.

I went to a place and asked for Cheese pizza and they gave me a pizza without tomato sauce or cheese on it, just bread.. Like a tortilla.
It was called, 'White Cheese Pizza'.
Thin crust pizza is the best, but their thin crust was like... Hard to chew I suppose. I have to say the best food I ate in Europe was Fish N' Chips or a sandwhich in Belgium. Italy is last on my list along with France. I probably had too high of expectations in France and Italy because apparently it was supposed to be the best food ever.
