The man is an inspiration, he sings with such soul and you know that he has that devotion with god like few artists nowadays can express If you do not know about the man, who ruled the 70s, i suggest starting in the classic period with talking book and go from there His music is pure genius that has passed through the times releasing superb albums his recent in 2005 a time to love Any stevie fans on facepunch SPEAK NOW, dont worry bout a thing....
Superstition Like playing the guitar riff on bass...

he also performs live a lot better than some of the drivel these days
I wouldn't say he's 'underrated' but he is popular for all the wrong reasons. His earlier albums like Innervisions and the Secret Life of Plants were as complex and densely layered as any prog rock album. He is very talented.

Ah, a man who talks sense! Thank you. Just put on Innervisions now, what a great album. Boogie On Reggae Woman <3
have innervisions on vinyl LP, the artwork is truly glorious and fits so well to the style of music I show people Innervisions and they tell me "What??? Never Heard of it" very few these days, and I mean the younger generation, have yet to keep their music tastes open and just experience devotion that some artists have shared Stevie's most recent album A Time To Love, I first listened to it with relatively good expectations......then I listen to it and it actually blew me away, I was astounded as to why its another album of his that has been buried, excellent reviews and yet forgotten
his 80s stuff (although not as good as the 70s that he ruled) is still pure genius

now own this on vinyl... and it is an album I will cherish :]
Hands down, he has one of the best voices of any musical performer of all time OF ALL TIME
He stole the show at Glastonbury.... SUPERB PERFORMANCE... I have only watched his set.. pretty much all the others there weren't amazing or worth watching [sp]When he becomes Little Stevie Wonder during the set, its really funny, but when he performs Fingertips... it actually amazingly sounds as if he was actually a 13 old kid.... all they did was higher the pitch.. FANTASTIC[/sp]
This and Superstition are easily his best songs.
