"I think that certainly those who continued to put before us that we need to confront this problem did a service," Father Oliver said, speaking in Rome. "They [the media] helped to keep the energy, if you will, to keep the movement going so that we would, honestly and with transparency, and with our strength, confront what is true," he added. Oh cut the shit. They'd be sweeping it under the rug as fast as they could if the media hadn't non metaphorically caught them with their pants down.
"Oh yeah, thanks a ton"
Well, those church authorities would know all about keeping the movement going. After all, it's not the size of the ship, it's the motion of the ocean.
Oh cut the shit. They'd be sweeping it under the rug as fast as they could if the media hadn't non metaphorically caught them with their pants down.
What do you want them to say? "Ugh, dammit guys, this is a real inconvenience to us."
np vatican, just the greatest country on earth doing its job
For some reason, I can imagine every Vatican meeting involving a bunch of priests, cardinals, and bishops meeting up and talking about new ways to molest kids. While the Pope and the chosen few who don't finger kiddies just spend the whole time with their faces buried in their hands.
What do you want them to say? "Ugh, dammit guys, this is a real inconvenience to us."
I don't want them to say anything. I couldn't care less about what they say. I care about results, and I want them to work towards results without being dragged kicking and screaming into them. Anything less only serves to reinforce the fact that they are utterly corrupt and willing to turn a blind eye to anything within their organization.
The pope looks like a very evil senile fool.
