Question about the makers of the nip/tuck themesong, "The Engine Room"

Are they an actual band, or is it just the name the guys who came up with the song wanted in the credits?

I can't find shit, anywhere on this band. I'm extremely into very ethereal and elegant music like goldfrapp and such. So naturally I'd want all their shit cause i think the song A Perfect Lie is fucking awesome.

ive actually been looking for more of the Engine Room's songs lately. i typed it into google search many times, getting the same shit answers as always which pretty much says THE BAND DOESNT EXIST YOU MORON but really it does. i typed 'The Engine Room' into my itunes search today (about 5 minutes ago) and it came up with a band called The Engine Room with a self-titled album. i almost screamed i was so excited to find it but i dont know if its the same band still (maybe they just have the same names?) but it sounds like their style so i hope it is. Maybe this was even the littlest bit helpful?
