I can finally play with 'pee'!
This is good for the mac I just ordered!
TF2 will never be the same.
No seriously, mac's don't have right click.
No spy cloaking
No Airblasting
No rev-ing up miniguns
exc
The fact that "Steam Play" is highlighted as a feature of the first wave means later waves of third party games could make you buy it over and over for each platform.
Fuckers. First with the pricing, now this?
GTFO Valve.

Please don't ruin Killing floor.
To be fair, Macs have pretty much always supported right click, you could just plug in a standard mouse and it would work. It's always had the functionality as ctrl-click.

Doesn't change the fact that this is one sexy mouse though, probably my all time favorite in terms of looks. :3:
Soo, how long until *NIX binaries is released?
In ValVe time of course.
^ Looks like some female sex toy or something.
No offense, but still.

OS X is a *nix hailing from a BSD-like userland and a kernel architecture similar to the Hurd

Hey now, Valve is the one supporting steam play with all of their games. When it comes to other titles, they have no say over things like pricing, region control or whether or not games will be available on both platforms.

Macs aren't bad.
Macs aren't bad.
Just priced higher than most PC's. And their ad's make fun of PC users.
But I can't say their operating system is bad.

Yes, but you can't press both at the same time can you? Anyways, I look forward to seeing more tf2 and l4d2 players.

That's true, if there's one thing I hate about commercials it's when they bash other products instead of praising their own.
They've actually stopped making those adverts now apparently. Which is good.
It's a shame that Portal will be the first game to launch instead of TF2.
Portal is probably just about all they can handle on the same day. It's popular they don't have to worry about the multiplayer component.
Even though I do not own a mac, it's still a great step for gaming across multiple platforms.
And to all Mac users, I highly advise you to get Torchlight! It's a great game and does not require a strong pc at all, it even has a netbook mode!

The fact of the matter is, they voluntarily gave up that control, and let the publishers fuck us over any way they want.

I would say it's a pretty big blow for directx as well.

You speak like valve could just go in any day and set any prices for games they want, like making MW2 $5. But that would be a huge disrespect to publishers and would get valve sued in no time. So you can't blame them at all for prices, except for their own games.
cool.

I don't have Portal though so I have to wait for the other games I have to be OSX ready.
Fantastic, the more the merrier.

But of course! Forgot about that. I take it that the source engine now works with OpenGL or something? Wait.. doesn't that mean that it will be easier for Valve to make PS3 versions of their games from now on? :byodood:

It looks like the mouse that made my carpal tunnel worse.
Damn it was painful to use.
