I don't know what evidence there is to back up that it was a diplomatic vehicle, however that's what the video says. It appears as though the driver made an attempt to hit the protesters. Just utterly disgusting. After the car runs over the protesters, the crowd goes into a fury, attacking what appears to be a barricade. If the driver is identified, he should be sentenced with murder. So a angry and violent mob surrounds my car, i will most certainly get pulled out and beaten. I get bombarded by rocks and might get hit by a molotov i need to act fast. What do i do? 1. Fucking floor it. 2. Get beaten/killed. Well not really but i hope someone sees the logic i try to forward.

People weren't really minding the car till it started hitting people.

Everything you've said applies to the first 26 seconds and is perfectly fine to get out of an angry mob (to which you've just drove into for some reason). But then, at 27seconds , even tho he has a clear path in front of him, he changes lines and gets 20x combo. Why the fuck would you do that? Explain it to me Mr.Logical.

If you look closely through that little plant that's in the way at about 0:30, you can kind of see a crowd that's engulfing the entire breadth of the street, including the side he was originally driving on. The driver made a split-second decision and probably decided that the path of least resistance would be through the other crowd. I'm not condoning what he did at all, it's fucked up that you would have to make a decision like that at all, but try to see it from his perspective. He was probably scared shitless, inexperienced, and didn't know where to go.
