Saw The Final Chapter - General

I just watched Saw The final chapter and well possibly the worst horror movie I'v watched and it was pretty bad since no one survives and the Doctor from the first movie goes on John's side (JigSaw) and the traps gone cheap but if you want to know how it ends well watch it

They're all just awful.

First movie was "OK", but then it just went down hill from there.

Every saw sucks, but the window scene seems cool.

The first movie was great The second movie was watchable The third movie was watchable I enjoyed the fourth movie The fifth movie was boring The sixth movie had a satisfying ending (but the rest sucked) The seventh movie was fucking terrible

usually a FINAL CHAPTER has some sort of final conclusion to it all. This didn't because they just really can't let this series go and just thought calling it FINAL would sell more tickets. Bad movie.

I like how the newest Jigsaw protege was super-obvious from the beginning because he did that whole head-bent down, sinister glare, raspy voice routine in his appearance

And then at the end when he shows up it's almost insulting how it treats it like some big twist

The first one was brilliant. Number two is simply terrible, but I found the rest watchable. It's almost as if after the first film the series took a different turn completely.

I wish they would have just stopped at the second movie. The first 2 were really good in my opinion. Rest are crap.

Saw 1 was interesting and something fresh for me, the second was as worthy of a sequel as it got. After that the plot got so fucking convoluted I stopped caring and just watched them for the gore/contraptions/cheap thrills.

The second had a lot of potential. I mean, Saw pretty much kicked off the genre. The second film stuck in my mind because I loved the idea of a bunch of people stuck in a communal game. But it definitely did not live up to expectations. Now that I think of it, Five's big game was actually pretty decent. The continuation of the overall story sucked dick, but the game was interesting.

Also does anyone know of a complete story explanation? I've yet to watch nr 7 and I'd like to get up to speed before I do.
