What was supposed to be a symbolic minute's silence before the start of a friendly match between Turkey and Greece in Istanbul ended in an embarrassing display. Some Turkish fans disrupted the minute's silence for the terrorist attacks in Paris by booing and some supporters even yelled"Allahu akbar"
OP note: there have been some reports that this is in protest to the attack(s) in Turkey, that have not gotten as much media attention. This however unconfirmed.
Also keep in mind they're football supporters, a group not known for it's decency no matter what the occassion. It's still incredibly disrepectful, no matter the excuse, and something not to take lightly in my opinion.

awful. I am highly against islamaphobia and ready to speak out against it. But this is disrespectful on so many levels.
why does it always seem to be football supporters that are always dickheads regardless of country
Absolutely fucking disgusting.
They WERE NOT shouting allahu akbar. They were shouting "Şehitler ölmez, vatan bölünmez" which is a common saying to mourn for dead soldiers.
They're angry at the world for ignoring terrorist attacks in Turkey (Ankara, 102 dead, etc., those people didn't had minutes of silence anywhere), as opposed to Paris attacks.

Because, quite simply, they are.

I think that because it's the most popular sport in the world, you're very likely to have a bunch of bad seeds in any given crowd.

That chanting was a more than just a bunch. It sounded like the entire fucking stadium was roaring.
