A 19-year-old man in Finspång, in southeastern Sweden, went on a rampage with a sword on Wednesday night, shattering the windscreen of a flabbergasted young couple’s car. “By the time we got there he had left he scene but he must have cut himself because we could follow the trail of blood to a nearby apartment,” said Torbjörn Lindkvist of the county police to newspaper Corren. The incident occurred shortly after 11.30pm on Wednesday night. The overwrought couple managed to drive away, leaving their attacker behind, and alerted the police. “They had hardly got into the car before this man turned up. He thrust the sword straight through the windscreen of the car, so hard that it shattered,” Lindkvist said to the paper. When police arrived at the man’s flat he was nowhere to be seen but officers soon caught up with him at a nearby hospital, where he was receiving medical treatments for his cuts. Police believe that he was under the influence of drugs when he staged the dramatic attack, but are not ruling out underlying mental problems. “The investigation will tell us,” said Lindkvist to Corren. The man was apprehended by police shortly after 2.30am and he is currently under suspicion of aggravated assault. He was formally arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning. He must be very close to his viking roots.

Well, at least he got to the point.
Would've been pretty badass if he hadn't cut himself by accident.
Where'd he get a sword, anyway?
Thread music
not swedish
You have to make sure your swede's beard is clean shaven or else they'll lose control and go berserk.
not swedish
I was thinking of posting a small disclaimer that I knew that, but I figured there was no point. Thanks for proving me wrong.
I live in Finspång. It was me.
What an ugly name for a place.
It makes sense in its belonging language, so...
It means "fine foot bridge" which is okay I guess. But spång just really reminds me of the word sponge, and it sounds like some weird slang for some STD or something.

"She got diagnosed with... the spang!" "Aw, no way dude!"
Haha its pronounciation is actually closer to "spong"
