I’m twilightlicious!”

“All the other soldiers have AR rifles but I want a lever action Marlin in .45/70, I could even have ponies carved into the buttstock,” writes BinderBlues.
Apparent brony military website: http://www.fobequestria.com/ dear god they've got guns now

(Mickey Mouse) Forever let us hold our banner high. High. High. High. Come along and sing a song and join the family. M-I-C K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E
so people like a cartoon, give them a break.
It's HAPPENING
so people like a cartoon, give them a break.
I find it odd though that they want to requisition non-standard rifles so they can carve ponies into the stock.

What a disgrace to the U.S Army.

oh boy here we go
Send them to Syria. [editline]19th July 2012[/editline]
I find it odd though that they want to requisition non-standard rifles so they can carve ponies into the stock.
I remember when someone ruined gun via painting it bright blue and putting rainbow stickers all over it.
so people like a cartoon, give them a break.
I think this is going over the line of "liking something" into "obsession"
Send them to Syria. [editline]19th July 2012[/editline] I remember when someone ruined gun via painting it bright blue and putting rainbow stickers all over it.
I recall it was a Mauser K98 rifle
“All the other soldiers have AR rifles but I want a lever action Marlin in .45/70, I could even have ponies carved into the buttstock,” writes BinderBlues.
Waiting for someone to tell me how this weapon compares to AR rifles in general to see if we can call him dumb or not.
Waiting for someone to tell me how this weapon compares to AR rifles in general to see if we can call him dumb or not.
it's a lot worse, lower magazine capacity, manual action, etc. It's more "classic and old" that's why he probably wants it
Send them to Syria. [editline]19th July 2012[/editline] I remember when someone ruined gun via painting it bright blue and putting rainbow stickers all over it.
You mean this? [thumb]http://imgkk.com/i/wp3_.jpg[/thumb]
It is horrendous.
oh boy love and tolerate those terrorists guys!
You mean this? [thumb]http://imgkk.com/i/wp3_.jpg[/thumb]
That's actually kind of badass if it's in the hands of a marine. "Taste the rainbow, bitches"
actually the comments on the page are quite interesting
As a 17 yr. old brony who is thinking of enlisting towards the Marines and has a dear friend and NJROTC platoon leader that has enlisted and has going away to train to serve in the Navy, I feel complete respect towards these brave men and women. Not just the bronies, but all who risk life and limb to protect our freedoms. I wish all of them the best and hold them in my prayers. God bless you all.

Sadened: “And thus begins the immasculation of our great country…” If that’s the national definition of manliness, we’ve already lost. How shallow. On the upside, the military has educational minimum requirements as well as needing strength of character, and they won’t need to worry about you lowering the average. You’d never make it past BCT. The army has been around for 5,000 years, and has learned a few things about filtering out people like you. I’d MUCH rather have a brony watching my six than someone who was self-absorbed and thinking of little more than his image. Someone saying openly “I like this show” has conquered a fear of rejection and has faced down a few inner demons. Someone criticizing that person lacks courage, is pretty much guaranteed to have medical-grade skeletons in his closet, and is therefore a prime candidate for desertion under fire or is blackmail fodder. No question about it, a brony in uniform is a far greater asset to this country and will do greater things than a poseur.

What a disgrace to the U.S Army.
Some one has a personal effect on his uniform, what a disgrace.
BREAKING NEWS: SOLDIERS LIKE THINGS
Some one has a personal effect on his uniform, what a disgrace.

"Non-authorized, non-military patches are not authorized for wear on military uniforms.”
yeah not following orders thar
Some one has a personal effect on his uniform, what a disgrace.
He is representing the U.S Army, He should act more professionally.
If his officers see that picture, he's fucked.
actually the comments on the page are quite interesting

a brony in uniform is a far greater asset to this country and will do greater things than a poseur.
Haha what.
yeah not following orders thar
i doubt he's going to wear it in a battle or in his base it's just for fun right? cos that would be dumb wearing it in a battle or at a base...
This ought to be good. Don't know why someone would ruin a perfectly good rifle like that though, but to each their own I suppose.
I find it odd though that they want to requisition non-standard rifles so they can carve ponies into the stock.
That is kind of odd, and the whole patches on their gear, other than that I dont see a problem.
Haha what.
it makes sense, I agree with him. Cowards are cowards
The thing that is truly bad about this, is if he's wearing patches like that in a combat scenario. Taliqaeda/Aliban may think that he has some sort of commanding position, and target him and him alone.
