Hadn't even heard of turbo kid until now, it looks great.
Apparently I guessed the twist for The Visit by only seeing one trailer. That's just disappointing.
Damn the twist was dumber than I imagined.
My main worry with Turbo Kid is that it'd be the kind of stupid shit that Kung Fury was. Glad to hear otherwise, and to see that I share Jay's opinion on it.
On a tangential note, I wonder what Jay and Mike will do for their 100th episode. It's coming pretty close.
Just finished Turbo Kid it's absolutely a must-watch.
uhm, they dont know shit about shamalaynss though. His movies have not flopped. None of them, but i guess its easier to think hes just a dumb hack.
But they've almost all been shit in the last 10 years
His movies being shit has nothing to do with how much money they made.
But they've almost all been shit in the last 10 years
Signs and Devil come to mind. They're so pretentious. The only movie that I liked from him was Lady in the Water, and I'm definitely the odd one out and completely understanding why others would dislike it.
His movies being shit has nothing to do with how much money they made.
They never said it does though?
As much as his films may be terribly average, Unbreakable was a genuinely fantastic film in my opinion.

They're never going to make it back to Mr. Plinkett's house and do some sketch comedy again, are they? Either quit teasing me so much or make another Plinkett review, damnit!

Turbo Kid is amazing. Everyone should watch it.Its like a Troma film trying to be a kids movie in the 80s.
