Apparently the game is available for pre-ordering now. And everyone who pre-orders it gets early access.

I think $19.49 is a pretty good price.

Some more gameplay came out just a few minutes ago.

How terribly scripted.

Shits wack.

Except they move at a decent clip and would easily catch them.
Looks better than I expected honestly.
i haven't seen much of this game but does it have that retaarded doom style flashlight where you can't just duct tape it to your gun
Looks spectacular.
I think I'll have a lot of fun with this. Now to get my classmates excited and fix ourselves up a little group.
will be worth it if the game uses a more optimized engine than arma has
Looks way too arcady for me, it just feels wrong.
Can't wait to grie-
I mean raid people.

I agree.
However, it still has a long way to go.
They better not get lazy after they get all the money they'll get from pre-orders and the release.
That... looks pretty good so far. Will certainly keep my eye on this.
My only fear is that you can shoot guns with little to no consequence, that was the one thing that DayZ did kinda right. Not only did other players know where you are, the whole horde of zombies nearby decided to check it out too.
What i still dont like is how awfully slow the sprint is. That and not so much zombies and zombies dont feel threatening so much.
Looks very much like a DayZ ripoff, even though they supposedly started working on it before DayZ. The cartoony feel doesn't help the realism much either.
It looks like a more casual version of dayz, I kinda like it but I really detested dayz.
Okay guys with the DayZ ripoff/lookalike comments, TheWarZ has been in development longer than DayZ supposedly. If anything it's the other way around

If they were shooting for realism these guys wouldn't be toting around AWPs and G36s.

From what I read, there was only a small group of devs working on a game similar to DayZ, but had only the concept, and after DayZ was a big hit, they formed a company, made WarZ their game's name, shipped out a commercial game really fast, and said DayZ ripped it off. How much of that is true, I don't really know.
Well DayZ is the big rigs of zombie games. This doesn't look nearly as abysmal
I wonder how deep this game goes in terms of gameplay and stuff, i mean if you were able to join camps, create stashes for food and water and all of that like you would do in a real zombie apocalypse then it would also be far more interesting for me.
The zombie aspect of the game already looks kind of negligible.
This looks absolutely terrible. People are actually going to pay money for this when they already have ArmA which does the same thing (but better) and more. The animations are just dreadful and the sounds are just stock. Whats so great about this? I get it, people love Dayz and they want more. But thats no excuse to just go and eat up anything a dev throws at you.

It looks like the controls are solid, it seems you can buy or build barricades, it looks easier to stash things, the interface for items is way better, weapons are moddable and player customization actually exists.
That alone blows DayZ out of the water.
DayZ cod edition.

You'd be better off saving your money for ArmA 3 and playing the DayZ for it that will inevitably come.

DayZ is going stand-alone so there is no real point into porting it to ArmA 3

Part of DayZ's problem was that it was running off ArmA's clunky as fuck military sim controls. I highly doubt they'll be better in ArmA 3

Really? I didn't know that, good for them I suppose. Still, WarZ looks pretty bad and people should avoid it.

Yeah because all the games look great in their pre alpha
