I know it's pretty old/late but I still can't get over how well made this sequence was in the film.
The constant jumping around really annoyed me but it's still pretty badass

I thought it was a nice effect. It basically takes out the transitions of baddassery and gets right to the point

You know what else was a nice effect?
[sp]Nicholas Cage being burnt alive.[/sp]
I loved this scene, the music and just the way the action was done... it's amazing.

The music is "In the house in a heartbeat" by John Murphy, it was also used in "28 Days later".

Yeah, it's beautiful.

The scream after he throws the grenade through the window was wicked.

mrenh it's hard to like Kickass when you realize how Kickass is actually the problem with the movie because he's the one who fucked up everything.

But, to me, that's the point. He's just a kid sick of getting pushed around. Of course he doesn't know absolutely everything about the situation, like a real superhero would.

Well, yeah, but it's actually irritating how up he fucks everything.
I think the movie might have actually been better if it was a superhero action movie with dark comedy elements about a guy and his daughter fucking up the entirety of everyone who stands in their way without Kick-ass.
