Hi i saw a vocaloid thread in this forum and that gave me the idea to create this thread ^^
i love COSPLAY and i visit many conventions and meet new friends with the same interests as myself ^^
i prefer to cosplay video game characters since im more into video games than anime/manga ( and im very much into this so that makes me an ultra geek )

Sure takes some balls to dress up like that though.
I don't like cosplay where people dress as other characters, but stuff like Steampunk conventions where they make their own costume is ok

Not to be a hater or a flamer, but, cosplay IMO just ruins animes, which are already ruined by some other factors.
OP: if you want to talk about cosplay/whatever, best to keep it in the fast anime thread in Fast Threads section
It's the only place where you won't get flamed.

when it comes to anime cosplay I find most of them to be retarded, although some of the scifi stuff can be pretty cool, I used to have a set of colonial marine armor from aliens myself,
really it's anime con goers that I dislike they're all LOL DESU JAPANESU KAWAII ^_^" despite the fact that they are very white.
either way, it's just a hobby, a silly one, but a hobby none the less, still regardless of your feelings on anime and the like, you gotta hand it to some people, there's alot of very well done stuff out there
and other stuff that's just terrible.

I'm working on a Marine from Season 1 as well now.
the only time i would want to dress up as a character from a game or otherwise is when i can dress up as a headcrab zombie from half life 2
Easier to burn people when they are covered in cloth.
