This can't be real. THIS CAN'T BE REAL.
I don't understand how Google can make absolutely beautiful apps, webpages, and an entire operating system but is completely and utterly incompetent at this one single website design
At this point, I think it's a running joke to make a shitty layout and tally how many complaints they get.

If it ain't broke.. On the other hand, I don't mind all these constant changes to youtube. But I certainly am confused as to what warrants these changes in the first place. Every older version of youtube was easier to use than it's predecessor. Google, you confuse me.
Oh god this is real http://www.youtube.com/user/vice?one_channel_preview=1
They really should stop doing that (changing the channel design).
i like it actually, i don't like it when someone makes their youtube page look like myspace hell. it's pretty organized too, A "channel trailer" for the video that is on your page, along with a few playlist boxes for you to put stuff at. of course there's going to be the obvious youtube bandwagon of hate for the next month or two, but then people find it better than previous.
I don't even care. As long as I can still watch videos I'm fine. I've made peace with the fact that I can't stop them from changing the design so I'm not gonna try and fight it.
I don't really like it, but I switched to it anyways since I'd be forced to down the line.
I've still got the "Your channel has been switched to the new design. Learn more about setting up your new channel here." from the old one on my channel.
I don't really like it, but I switched to it anyways since I'd be forced to down the line.
I can't find the option to do so.
.
I can't find the option to do so.
http://www.youtube.com/OneChannel Go to the bottom. You can switch back if you don't like it, but eventually all channels will move to this.
next design: every single page will either be a video with 15 ads or a cluster of links easy navigation! no mean comments, or any at all! who needs recommended videos?
No point of even complaining at this point. They're probably going to change to something even worse in a couple months anyways.
The layout is very good, the channel art system not so much It wants you to upload a single 2120x1192 image for all devices, you can't set the cropping individually for each slice, and the JPEG compression is utterly shit
Yeah..I don't even care anymore. I'm getting used to Youtube getting worse and worse.
So what's up with the Subscriptions box, the one where you drop down your name and click on the link and it takes you to a huge box grid with every uploaded video for the past few days I want to see that but all it takes me to is a homepage clone but with my subs What, I don't want to be some fucking idiot scrolling down a single column for the entire page, where is the grid It absolutely blows my mind that huge amounts of people never even used the grid but rather scrolled down the entire page looking at 1 fucking video at a time God what a terrible way to see videos
I'd be happy if youtube centered the page on widescreens. But nope.

I was able to squeeze this to a comfy 637kb [t]http://puu.sh/2erbB[/t] I don't really like the fact of the empty space though, my Samsung tv has the YouTube app because its one of those smart tv brands, I'll try it out then but I just hate having all this in the center you know?
Just when I think I'm getting used to the Youtube layout, they change it for some utterly arbitrary reason
I don't actually mind this at all.
Just when I think I'm getting used to the Youtube layout, they change it for some utterly arbitrary reason
how so? Channels should be simple not full of other bullshit, a nice cover, a photo, a little trailer, the videos, some links and that's it. I do not like the fact they got rid of channel comments but I guess nowadays if people want to communicate with the person making videos with feedback they would use the PM function on YouTube or just send them a tweet
the first update that has actually annoyed me, but whatever, I'll get used to it.
