between the spring and fall of 2017, Mnuchin took seven separate trips on military aircraft at a total of nearly $1 million.
The trip his wife took last year for the eclipse cost $33,000
Good to see the party of "small government" is reducing that spending so well...
The fact that these people have no problem spending this much money should say a lot
I don't think I'll even spend a million bucks on travel in my entire lifetime, much less within a single year
I don't think I could even spend a million bucks in a year period unless I went out of my way to do so
I could buy a house (in full, cash in hand) and fully restore my rusted-up 86 Ford for less than a million dollars.
I could pay off my student loans and start a small buisness with that kinda cash.
For a million dollars I could finally afford to go to college that our government for some reason decided I deserved no financial aid despite being on the poverty line. In fact, this money alone could seriously increase the post secondary education across the US. But nah let's instead waste it on travel because keeping americans up to par with the rest of the world isn't even an objective on the list of things to do.
The line between poverty and wasteful decadence gets wider ever day.
Look, funding and bettering education is something the Democrats want, which must mean it's something terrible and should never ever be done, okay
Educated people vote democrat, therefore education is bad.
