Authorities are still sweeping the Nashville area in search of eight teens who remain at large after they escaped a youth detention center late Monday.
Officials said 32 teen boys, ranging in age from 14 to 18, crawled under a fence at the Woodland Hills Youth Development Center in North Nashville about 11 p.m. Monday shortly after a staff shift change.
By noon local time Tuesday, all but eight had been located, some turned in by parents and other family members, said Rob Johnson, a spokesman with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services.

Kinda sad with how I'm thinking it: what if some of the kids were just so miserable they just wanted to go home :v: poor guys, but they gotta learn.

I AM. THE LAW!
Oh man I know of that place. I went to a residential treatment center, which was moderately hardcore, and the one this article is talking about is where the people who were too bad for my place went. If you really started fucking up you got threatened with going to Nashville. Supposedly this place is a living hell, the staff don't give two shits about the 'clients'(read: prisoners) and actively abused them some times. People have tried to shut it down over the abuse but apparently the owners are handing out some pretty hefty 'donations' to the higher ups.

32 is the biggest break I've ever heard of, though. The most I've ever witnessed at my place was 6 people and they only made it just out the gate but the river was snowed over and they forgot about it and fell in. (it was Utah in the middle of winter)
Why the fuck are people rating this winner?
Did they send out an amber alert?
The Grand escape of a century!
