Cold War Kids is an American Indie-Rock band from Whittier, California. The members consist of:

[u]A short history of Cold War Kids and their first album recordings[/u]
Cold War Kids began in Fullerton, California in Jonnie Russels apartment located right above Mulberry St. Ristorante (coincidentally it ended up being the name of their first EP). The band relocated to Long Beach, California to begin recording with Monarchy Records and eventually released their first EP, "Mulberry Street". After recording they toured the country from 2005-2006, during which they recorded two more EPs, "With Our Wallets Full" and "Up In Rags". Once they finished touring in summer 2006 Cold War Kids signed to Downtown Records and recorded their first LP "Robbers & Cowards" in the fall that same year. On September 23rd, 2008 Cold War Kids released their second LP titled "Loyalty to Loyalty" featuring songs such as "Mexican Dogs", "Relief", and "Cryptomnesia".
