Even as his U.S. men's curling teammates were locked in close competition with Germany, alternate Chris Plys couldn't help but notice the game beside them Tuesday.
"Norway has the crazy pants," he tweeted. "Kickin it retro I guess."
Who knew curlers were such fashionistas? The Norwegians, who were playing Canada and then met the USA later Tuesday, have raised eyebrows in the Vancouver Olympic Centre since practicing in the red-white-and-blue, diamond-pattered pants. The loud trousers are part of the team uniform, picked out by second Chris Svae from the same company — Sonoma, Calif.-based Loudmouth Golf — that outfits golfer John Daly.

:pcgaming:
Those trousers are badass.

I'm from Norway, and we're all wearing similiar clothes.

You guys have style.
I would wear those pants if I was Samuel Jackson.
To bad those pants can't save your game Norway :smug:
Yes, I watch curling. Screw you guys.
I think curling was originally invented by some drunk guys in the tundra that were bored and had a rock with two brooms.
I kinda want those pants though, not gonna lie.
When your life is dedicated to pushing a rock around on slippery ice, as far as excitement goes checkerboard pants are the equivalent of a nuclear holocaust.
No, but I kid. Those are some sexy pants.

Curling is a hell of a lot harder than it looks. Not physically harder (although the sweepers DO work their ass off by the end of a game), but mentally harder.

It's Samuel L. Jackson.
