A lot of the camera shots were way too long, and rather bland.
Why did all the voices sound like you were recording them at 2AM and trying not to wake up your mother?

I am making a new Halo Machinima soon and I have a new Microphone and have been taking Film Studies at school.... So it should be better :)
It was good, refrain from using Windows Movie Maker, but you used it particularly well. No terrible blue-screens with white text. Music was rather fitting.
Voice acting was freaking terrible. But all in all, it's easier to make a machinima with friends than on your own, so that was quite good.
Beaten my Garry's Mod one, but that was a 1 man job.

Sorry, but you need a lot of work. Film studies wont help you with directing, honestly, it is all just your own initiative and ability to appeal to visual senses. Find a better editing program, and record at a better quality.
Never make excuses for poor results, just tell people how you'll make it better.

pretty much this, also if it was reach, why were the covenant using battle rifles (human weapons) at the start
