Platinum Games pulled back the curtain on another game coming to the Wii U that didn't make it into Nintendo's press conference.
Project P-100, premiering on Spike and GameTrailers' E3 All Access Live, features Pikmin 3-like gameplay in the world of a group of superheroes fighting an invading alien force but with a bigger focus on teamwork and combining powers to overcome obstacles and destroy enemies.
Players will take control of a group of superheroes traveling through one of several open worlds and fighting a variety of alien enemies and obstacles from massive robots and tanks to a downed helicopter blocking their path.
The game will use the Wii U's GamePad as a viewer into building and tunnels from the heroes' perspective as they move through the different level. The touchscreen will require players to draw certain symbols to create actions and moves and activate powers on the TV screen.
The game also features a great deal of focus on action and fighting since it's also from the same director who worked on the Bayonetta games.
Platinum Games told GTTV's Geoff Keighley there is no set release date yet and the title is still in development.
that game looks really fun
Only game that makes me remotely want a Wii U.
Games like this justify that useless gimmick. I'm not getting a Wii-U, of course, but if a friend has one, I'd suggest this.
