This site has the same basic layout as FML, though instead of bad things happening to people, its about really sweet things that really want to make you go awwwwwwwwww.
It really cheers you up, taking a break from the cruel side of the world and really seeing the beauty people have inside them.
Here's some of my favorite entries:
My 7 year old brother is autistic and has a very hard time with fine motor skills so he was held back.
But one day over the weekend he sat at the table for two hours trying to string beads into a bracelet all by himself. The reason? He loves a little girl in his class named Cindy because she plays with him.
His love and her kindness GMH
I use a power wheelchair on a college campus. One day, my chair battery died in the middle of campus with 3 more classes to attend and no way to get there. I quickly became a human baton, my 300 pound wheelchair being pushed though the rain by a series of strangers. I got to each of my classes and back home on time! Thank you relay team...you GMH!
Today I found out about a 10-year-old boy who has been harrassed by his classmates because he refuses to say the Pledge of Allegiance. Why? He says that until gays and lesbians have equal rights, there isn't really "liberty and justice for all". Kids with the courage to stand up for their fellow human beings GMH.
Last Sunday, my dad was at a church service in Austin, TX. An obviously homeless man sat next to him in the pew.
During the offering, the man put $2 into the basket.
Selflessness GMH.
I recently learned that my parents were getting a divorce, so i called my best friend. She came over and told me to leave the room.
Later when i came back she strapped about 6 pillows around her and told me to punch her as hard as I could to get my anger out.
My friend GMH
In my old neighborhood there were two homeless men that always spent their days together outside a nearby 7/11 with their dogs. After making my purchase, I gave them the money left over plus my allowance to buy some food. They went inside, coming out with a box of dog food. Their selflessness GMH.
Once, at a college party some 15 year old girls showed up.
They got really drunk, and one of them started stripping on the dance floor. Seeing other guys eyeing her, some boys put their jackets around her and took her home.
Strangers caring GMH.

There's too many of these damn websites
Good site - there's a ton of these, but most are outright blogs.
I think the most popular "goodness" site would be the We'll Know When We Get There blog, and it's most famous for the article Sincerely, John Hughes. It's really heartwarming. I suggest you give it a read.
Another thing I'd like to show (again; I've posted it before but it didn't get much recognition) is An Awesome Book by Dallas Clayton. Showing this alone is enough to make people say "GMH" just because it's so good.
I thought it was MylifeisG.

I mean with that one there's no abbreviation at all man.

Strangers caring GMH.
Oh yeah 15 year olds drinking at a college party is ok but them stripping isn't. They should've stopped it right away. (15 is ridiculous.)

Agreed especially in a party where the men were more gay than the Village People.
Some of this stuff is really heart warming.
A few months ago, my grandmother died of cancer.
With the few words she had left, she told me where to find my Christmas presents for the next three years, my high school graduation present, and my wedding present. As her youngest grandchild, she wanted to make sure she could be there for me even after she was gone.
Her love and thoughtfulness GMH

4 years, 5 months and 13 days ago, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. He received a Peace Lily from a friend. He lost his battle with cancer Dec. 9, 2005.
In the final days of his life, I asked for a sign to let me know he'd made it to Heaven okay. That Christmas, his Peace Lily bloomed for the first time...and the last.
Love that endures death GMH
Heart warming, really.
There's some really heart warming stories <3
Jesus Christ, there are a bunch of stories that make me tear.<3<3<3
I prefer MyLifeIsAverage
But that is really sweet stuff

where they then raped her violently :smug:
Freshman year, there was a crippled girl bound to a wheelchair.
For 4 years, she did physical therapy and progressed to crutches.
When we graduated a few weeks ago, she handed her crutches to an officer and walked across the entire stage.
The applause from the seniors was deafening. She cried the whole way.
:3:
This is perfect. Yesterday I supposedly dropped a tenner in the local store, and started out. A block and a half away from the store a guy in a trashed car with ratty clothing pulls up to me and beckons me to the window. I walk over and he hands me ten dollars, telling me I dropped it. The man returned the cash, despite the fact he could have used it for something. That brightened my day.
I woke up one morning to hear the birds outside my window and my mother cooking breakfast downstairs. I've never cried so much in my entire life. I had been deaf since the age of 8.
Heart-warming stories :3
I've had a pretty boring as fuck day, and so right now I'm annoyed and tired. This thread has cheered me up so much.
I cant believe I shed a tear over the cancer one with the peace lily.
One day in my friend's highschool, a bully shoved a boy down a flight of stairs and broke a few bones because the boy was gay.
My friend confronted the bully, got into a fight, and gave him a bloody nose. My friend is a tiny, shy italian girl who didn't even know the boy.
:golfclap:
A couple of days ago, I was watching the news and heard that a dog saved an 11-year-old boy from a cougar attack. The dog, Angel, was severely injured, while the boy escaped.
A few days later, the boy's family received hundreds of letters from people across N. America to help pay for the dog's surgery.
Angel and caring people GMH!
Brought tears to me eyes
About a year before my dog died, he started to go blind. When my cat realized this, she began helping him find his way by rubbing against his legs, running ahead of him, and meowing loudly so he could follow the sound of her voice. The love pets have not just for people but for each other GMH.
Dawwww.
One day in 5th grade, I came home upset and told my parents that my friend had been taken out of class by Child Protection Services. My dad did everything he could to find her.
Now, for the past 11 years, I've had the sister I always wanted.
My parents GMH.
My heart is about to explode due to a sweetness overload
oh god, some of these make me want to just ball up and burst into tears crying.
But no, I am a man, if I ever do cry it has to be manly tears of solid ice.

To the post above: :patriot:
I don't tear easy, but damn, it's good to know there are still some decent people left in the world.

What the hell? I wonder if the money in that basket actually goes to charity or whether it goes to the greedy cult that is the Church.
You it's a successful cult when you get homeless people to give you money willingly.

Yes all religion is a cult you are correct.
The ones that made me almost cry were the ones about the dog saving the boy, and the cat helping the blind dog, People don't GMH, Animals GMH.
Happiness on the internet! This is a beautiful site; many "aaaw"s will be had.
