I want to see some motherf***ing good soundtracks that go with some motherf***ing good movies. Here is a motherf***ing movie that has a motherf***ingly good soundtrack. When I listen to it... I am watching the movie in my mind. The soundtrack itself, is a masterpiece. Enjoy this thread. :smug: also, include the album covers if you can.
Scott Pilgrim Vs the World Original Score Songs remind me of video game music and the classic days of the NES.

Inception soundtrack. If you've seen the movie you will know why.
Reservoir Dogs. It's perfect.
awesome
Muthafucken Sunshine.
Lord of the Rings trilogy. Beautiful music, it all sounds like it was all composed right in Middle-Earth. I'd put another soundtrack up, media tagged... But that'd be another 15 or so. If you don't like this, then you either don't like Zimmer or have a bad taste of music, in my opinion that is.
have a bad taste of music
That grinds my gears. But yes Inception is the greatest soundtrack of the year.
Star Wars and Indiana Jones bot have fantastic soundtracks (although most people already know that). All Tarantino has good soundtracks as well.
The 2009 Sherlock Holmes adaptation has a pretty awesome score to it.

Donnie fucking Darko.
Mama Mia!-ABBA need Is say moar And Iron man 2-AC/DC (Movie sucked, Sound track was only good thanks to AC/DC) :/
Blade Runner - just because it sounds cool Jurassic park - best if played on your ipod, at dusk, in a forest. Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone complex soundtrack ( Yoko Kanno ) is pretty good if you like electronic
The Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Soundtrack is pretty good.
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. It's just awesome.
Wayne's World, because Jimi Hendrix, Queen, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, and the best version of Ballroom Blitz I've heard
The Rock by Hans Zimmer. Why? Listen for yourself:
Kung fu Hustle is full of good music
Inception OST
Dawn of the Dead just for this track
Not a film but Doctor Who has brilliant music.
I'm shit at explaining why I like something, so I'll attach some tracks. I honestly don't know how to describe this and why I like it, but it reminds me of Hans Zimmer's music, the way it gradually becomes more intense and adds instruments. Probably better if you watch the movie (which is great too). I find it pretty unique, Yann Tiersen used the accordion a lot and created a music that fits the universe of the film, a peppy, stereotypical France. The music is one of the first things that caught my attention when I watched the movie. I think Babel won the Oscar for Best Soundtrack, or was nominated at the very least. Out of the three Iñárritu films that Gustavo Santaoalla composed for, this is probably his best work. It also contains some excellent tracks from Ryuichi Sakamoto, among others. Ryuichi's work on Bibo no Aozora is pretty touching, but I prefer Santaoalla's Deportation/Iguazu. Also, I wasn't blow away by Inception's sountrack. I like it, but I don't see how it's amazing, especially compared to those three.
greatest soundtrack of any movie ever made
Any Godzilla movie that was scored by Akira Ifukube. there's a reason they call him "The John Williams of Japan".
