I'd put another soundtrack up, media tagged... But that'd be another 15 or so.

If you don't like this, then you either don't like Zimmer or have a bad taste of music, in my opinion that is.

I honestly don't know how to describe this and why I like it, but it reminds me of Hans Zimmer's music, the way it gradually becomes more intense and adds instruments. Probably better if you watch the movie (which is great too).

I find it pretty unique, Yann Tiersen used the accordion a lot and created a music that fits the universe of the film, a peppy, stereotypical France. The music is one of the first things that caught my attention when I watched the movie.

I think Babel won the Oscar for Best Soundtrack, or was nominated at the very least. Out of the three Iñárritu films that Gustavo Santaoalla composed for, this is probably his best work. It also contains some excellent tracks from Ryuichi Sakamoto, among others. Ryuichi's work on Bibo no Aozora is pretty touching, but I prefer Santaoalla's Deportation/Iguazu.

Also, I wasn't blow away by Inception's sountrack. I like it, but I don't see how it's amazing, especially compared to those three.
