As bad as the film is, I hated it less than Batman Vs Superman.
I watched this with my cousins after Thanksgiving and I was bored out of my mind. We watched Assault on Arkham afterwards and it was a much more pleasant experience.

Pretty much. The greatest sin Suicide Squad ever pulled was copy the premise of Guardians of the Galaxy and, according to rumors, cut some important scenes to make the film more comical and appealing to the younger crowd.
Pretty much sums up how I felt about the movie.
None of the characters actually do anything, I left the cinema completely baffled as to how they managed to get a film so wrong.
- Harley was purely there for sex appeal and 'LOL SO RANDUMB!!!!XD' humor and is useless otherwise
- Slipknot was edited out in post prod but they probably didn't want to do more work he had 1 minute of screen time but more importantly his garbage power was the ability to shoot a grappling hook
- Croc punches people
- Captain boomerang is a stereotypical alcoholic Australian whose gag is he is downing a can of beer in the background every time you see him and is obsessed with punching people and knives, oh yeah and you see him throw like 2 boomerangs the whole film.
- Will Smith is a snappy one liner machine and occasionally gets to shoot people
Diablo was the only moderately interesting character but was sadly almost like a deus ex machina just there to conveniently save the day with his power that is far stronger than anyone elses. Other than that all of the characters just feel like they are put there to have some edgy banter, other than joker who appears every so often to be annoying and advance the plot a little bit.
I still haven't seen BvS but I'm definitely interested if you guys think it is worse than Suicide Squad, I can usually enjoy films for what they are even if its mindless action but this film is hot garbage.

BvS made me never want to watch another Super hero movie again.
The only interesting characters were Amanda Waller, Katana(hardly gets face time even in the "Extended Cut"), and Diablo even though as above he served as a deus ex machina for the final battle.
Also why the fuck did Angry Joe like it?! He HATED Batman v. Superman for doing the same thing SS also did.
Judging by that lineup of films and the current trend so far, DC should focus more on quality than quantity.

I don't think you can say DC and quality in the same sentence
MCU has been DESTROYING DCU... but the comics, well, thats another story.

They are doing a half assed job at trying to emulate the success story of Marvel, while missing out on the fact that Marvel was a success in the first place because they started small and took their time while building up momentum.
DC is trying to catch up to the MCU in like 3 movies
and all 2 that are out are so far terrible, the third is likely to follow suit.

To be fair, this entire movie served as a way to pander to stupid edgy Hot Topic kids who love that kind of humor and make Facebook posts about how Heath Ledger's Joker was a hero and how they admire Joker and Harley's abusive relationship.

I think Aquaman has the potential to be good. Batman is most likely going to be great.

I'm in a minority here, but I thought BvS was better although still shit, don't get me wrong. The action scenes alone are better than anything in SS, and just on a technical level (cinematography, music, atmosphere, acting, direction, editing etc.) it's just much better made. SS was just a mess jumbled together trying to be as "cool" as possible.

Zack Snyder is undeniably great at choreographing action scenes. I really did enjoy the climax with Wonder Woman and the others against Doomsday and the fight between Batman and Superman was great too.
Only problem is there was like 8 minutes of action in a 2 hour movie and the other 112 minutes were arse.
i liked mos and bvs and thought suicide squad was doodoo
I thought BvS was a complete mess editing and script wise, until I saw Suicide Squad. Jesus christ, man.
A lot of people dislike the Snyder aesthetic, but I personally really liked the way BvS looked in non-CGI scenes; while Suicide Squad looked like garbage the whoLe way through
Superheroes themselves are uninteresting and boring, they are all OP.
Batman shouldnt be able to just "Out smart everything", I mean I think he would be better if he existed in his own comics universe, unconnected to justice league.
Superman can be interesting if done correcly, like in Red son, or "Lex Luthor, man of steel" but in general is the same everytime and boring
Marvel gets off on gimmicks with their heroes now.
In general, the dark knight and gog are the only hero flicks I enjoy.

Sounds like someone is reading too many shitty stories/watching too many shitty adaptions.

i mean yeah, in terms of their strength or wit they're usually OP, but in terms of their actual characterization and their "humanity" (not saying this is strictly human, but rather the things that make a person human) they are definitely not. Those emotional flaws are what people really get involved with.

Not to forget that they mostly stuck close to the source material where as this shitheap likes to change everything it can
I haven't watched Suicide Squad but I love the visuals of that one shot of Enchantress at the table with the government guys whenever I see it.
