Army Gags is a tale of friendship, love, loss, war and peace as seen through the eyes of an emotionally oblivious eight-year-old. Basically this is a comic I did over ten years ago that was apparently about people in the army. Reading through it as an adult, I realised just how unintentionally hilarious it could be. From exploding orphanage nuns to comic book industry-based slavery, Army Gags is truly a window into the somewhat uneasy mind of my eight-year-old self. Just so you get the idea, this is the kind of quality we're dealing with: I'm not really sure what reaction I can expect to this, so I'm just throwing it out there and seeing what happens. I've got sixteen issues to upload (plus a ton of miscellaneous related drawings from around the time), and I'll be uploading one issue per week, and five pages per day starting at 12 PM GMT 21/4. The first five pages of issue one are already available. Obviously I'm not asking for feedback on the comics themselves as the whole thing was completely over and done with by the time I was twelve, but I'm also going to be providing commentary on each page (beneath the image on the site), so it would be nice to let me know what you thought of that. Edit: whoops, just realised the link in the banner wasn't working. Fixed now. Also click here to go to the site.
keep going..

I honestly think this is a really good thing you have here, not even kidding. Publishing your shit at 8 years old, thats badass
oh god this reminds me when i made a like 50 page long WWE comic when i was like 10 we got that shit official tho, our english teacher thought it was cool and she made copies of it for us, we handed it out until i showed boobies or something and then they stopped letting me give it out
Made a transcript for some people that can't see some of the words clearly, just incase: http://bitbin.it/raw.php?id=9xFdoJfk
Made a transcript for some people that can't see some of the words clearly, just incase: http://bitbin.it/raw.php?id=9xFdoJfk
Pretty good, but its John reading the comic at the end and Jack who takes it off him. I don't blame you for getting it mixed up, though :v:
Oh yeah, the rest of issue one is now being uploaded. I figured that instead of making you wait until tomorrow for two more pages, you can have a lovely seven pages today: http://armygags.smackjeeves.com I even had my own line of merchandise. Were you selling your own-branded cereal at eight? I think not. :v: edit: oops, didn't mean that to be a new post, just an automerge. oh well.
I pirated next weeks comic! Grab it while it's hot!
Happy Saturday! I have a present for you: http://armygags.smackjeeves.com
makes me wish i could find my childhood spiderman comic, where he fights a mutant werewolf in seattle
Haha aren't childhood comics the best? Now I want to look for my childhood sci-fi comic about a bounty hunter named Murk Krod. He's a dude with a cobra head and nothing that happens in it makes any sense. Also one of the aliens looks like an inverted testicle, it's amazing.
You want more pages? You got more pages: http://armygags.smackjeeves.com/

More more more! http://armygags.smackjeeves.com/
"I am your General!" "Well I didn't vote for ya" How many of these did you draw? 8 year old you was a machine, evidently.
I did sixteen of them in all between 2002 and 2006 (alongside other things, there was one about time travel), but I think the first 10 or something were when I was 8.
I don't like double-posting, but needs must: http://armygags.smackjeeves.com/ Four more pages (also I'm only doing the four page thing for this one as it's only 18 pages overall, so you're not waiting longer for issue 4 to begin) Army Gags cereal certainly is an enigma.
My chilhood comics are all black and red. When I found them, I kept on staring at stickmen removing each other's limbs, dying horribly and spilling blood all over the pages. People slicing eachother, people falling on death spikes, people getting shot, people biting eachother to death... the list can go on endlessly.
Oh and I almost forgot, end of issue 3! http://armygags.smackjeeves.com/ The best pun or the bestest pun?
you need to work on your anatomy ~scoff~
Enter issue 4 (and further terrible puns): http://armygags.smackjeeves.com/
