Priced at the low cost of 50% of the cost of the original game.

This goes for the entire game.
Are people still legitimately interested in this game still?
Only gonna get it for the Zombie map. Ascension was pretty good, but it was still way too overpriced.
Are people still legitimately interested in this game still?
I still play it, every now and again with friends. It's not a bad game.
Okay well it is, but it's not a not-fun game.
[editline]12th April 2011[/editline]
Either way I won't be buying this, same with every other DLC in every other call of duty game
Are people still legitimately interested in this game still?
How would one be illegitimately interested in it?
I bet it's $15 or cost 1200 microsoft points
Despite the general lukewarm reception of these map packs, they seem to top steam sales for quite a while after release. I'm tempted to say that it's because people are morons, but in truth, people just like different things I suppose. Even if the things they like lead to more overpriced DLC bullshit because major companies know that they can make money off of it.

No they are just morons, don't try to explain it differently because they are :)

Or maybe people enjoy playing video games for enjoyment and don't give a shit about a bunch of annoying whiny people on an internet forum, I'm not saying that's it's right to charge this much for 5 maps. But just because this brings people enjoyment doesn't mean they're morons :)
This is great. I love when Activision release new map packs that I won't buy.
This is starting to become one of my most used images.

How about they fix their broken game already, I haven't been able to play it with decent connection and framerate since launch.
And I've tried numerous optimizations and fixes, the damn thing is just coded WRONG

Keep on coming as I don't give a fuck.

"Game is released, lets shoot more shit to make more money and disregard whats wrong with our last release. Next map pack gogogo!"
I hate this.

Or how about you're forced to because the server will kick you off because you don't have the map?
I still haven't been able to play the game properly on my computer since it's release.
I thought it was going to be decently made... Guess not..
Or how about you're forced to because the server will kick you off because you don't have the map?
Buddy, I can relate to that back in COD:WAW
Not fucking buying this, when will they understand that a few maps is not worth $15. In halo 3 the map packs were just a couple bucks.
here we go again
no wait it already started because FP sure does love them bandwagons
Hey now, this game can be quite fun. I often go on hardcore S&D servers with friends to grief (kill teammates, get the bomb and camp, insult admins, use grenade launchers, stuff like that :v:)
Or how about you're forced to because the server will kick you off because you don't have the map?
Because that never happens in tf2 or css right? Sometimes you get that message saying your map differs from the server and you're kicked out. Or you have to spend a couple minutes downloading the map or a bunch of other extras that do nothing.
yeah i bought the first pack and quit the game
$100 down the drain woopty doo.
Id rather play Mw2 and buy the old packs for that

Those are custom maps.
That is a HUGE difference.
Oh my I can't wait to be ripped off again! I'm so hyped!
The maps are good, but for that price they can shove them up their own ass.
I still feel screwed because they didn't release our promised mod tools and decided to milk us with 15 euro mappacks instead.

It does mean they buy anything that they want no matter what it's priced, which probably will lead them to taking loans to buy shit and then it goes along that familiar downward spiral (no they won't take loans to buy CoD map packs, but if they don't see how 15€ for 5 maps is overpriced, chances are they are those people that buy anything that takes their fancy, whether they can afford it or not). That or they are well-off enough (but I doubt the CoD community has any decent job on average, unless they are the polar opposite in real life).
Very smart

That was only to get us to buy it, they probably never intended to release them or they are going to release it for 30€ at the very end of BO's lifecycle.
I wouldn't pay for a bucket of shit.

Because you obviously have to pay to get tf2 and css maps right?
