According to the police report, the two brothers were driving through the parking lot when another car backed out of a parking space.

Words were exchanged that escalated into a fight between Rudy Gonzalez and the driver.

Police say Elmer then ran to his vehicle and tried to run over the driver, but instead hit his brother.

According to police, Gonzalez then continued to chase the driver into the walkway of the complex, before eventually crashing into other cars.

Iirc it's not really that much more crazy than other states, it just gives the public access to full arrest records, so the weird details get out there rather than just "man commits vehicular manslaughter".

Pretty much. Anyone you meet you can go look them up if you know their name and see their record

It's how I found out my neighbor has several DUI's. Not like tire marks from her running across the yard and then my driveway wasn't a giveaway or anything.
