European goal to eliminate measles by 2015 will likely fail; you can guess why.

In Germany, the measles immunization rate is 92 percent - in Baden-Württemberg it's even lower at 89 percent. This might sound like a lot, but it is well below the 95 percent goal set by Germany and other European nations to eradicate the disease by 2015.
In 2013, the then German health minister Daniel Bahr raised the idea of mandatory vaccination as a way of increasing the measles vaccination rate.
But Dr Günter Pfaff, the chief epidemiologist at the Baden-Württemberg State Health Authority isn't convinced that such measures would work in Germany.
"We probably would have to use more energy to fight against opposition to mandatory vaccination than we could use to convince people that vaccination is good, and that it would be a benefit for their children," he says from his office in Stuttgart.
The source is German-centric, if anyone has another that focuses on Europe as a whole I'll gladly add it to OP.
It's such a shame that anti-vaccination people don't just hurt themselves, if they did, I wouldn't care. But not getting vaccinated can potentially harm others.

Penn and Teller sum it up pretty nicely

In Czech Republic, the vaccination for measles, diphtheria, whooping cough and other fun stuff (total of 9 illnesses) is completely obligatory unless doctor says otherwise (usually only in cases of allergy) and parents who refuse are usually probated by social workers and the children can be taken away.
Once you want to live in an actual society, you might as well not put others in danger just because you think you know better than doctors in completely proven and decades old knowledge.
i like how people throw shit at africa for not believing ebola exists yet we have soccer moms who think vaccines are deadly

I don't think we'd get away with making it mandatory in the USA. But several of the countries in Europe probably could.

Especially because in Africa it's not entirely their fault with poor education and little access to doctors. In the USA and Europe you could google it or ask an actual doctor.

It's not just autism though, most of the people that don't get their children vaccinated are hardcore christians.

shots are mandatory in schools in florida at least

Say whatever the fuck you will to me, but taking children away from people who don't vaccinate is fucking cruel. Not that I agree with them, but ripping children away from parents who care for their kids besides vaccinations will only hurt the cause.

but if only the anti-vaccination people don't get vaccinated
doesn't that mean
that they'll be the only sick ones
In Toronto if you're not vaccinated, they kick you out of school. I remember being told at 16 if I didn't get my next set of booster shots I wouldn't be able to go to school. My response? "What's the rush, then?"

Diseases mutate. If it is allowed a foothold in someone who isn't vaccinated, it provides it a "base of operations" if you will to attempt to mutate and spread to those who are vaccinated in a new form that the vaccine doesn't affect.

The parents are preventing the children to immunise themselves from rather harmful, but easily preventable diseases because a shitty doctor who has repeatedly been proven to be wrong told them it might just give them autism, as if it were that fucking bad in the first place. I, for one, am all about taking the children away.

Unfortunately no - most opponents to vaccination were almost certainly vaccinated as children themselves, it will be their children who have no choice in the matter that will ultimately suffer the consequences.

Whatever allows you to sleep at night.
but if only the anti-vaccination people don't get vaccinated
doesn't that mean
that they'll be the only sick ones
No, there are about three ways they can harm others afaik
1. Their children will suffer.
2. Viruses can mutate, so potentially current vaccines could be rendered useless.
3. Some people can't get vaccines for various reasons, usually allergies, so they depend on others being vaccinated to protect them from illnesses that they can't get vaccinated against.

If you want to refuse to vaccinate your child, it means you are willfully putting your child in danger, thus it's likely you lack the responsibility to take proper care of it anyway.
In Canada, or Ontario at least, you can't be admitted to kindergarden unless you have all your shots.

It's called negligence, it can kill the child and those he meets and it's a very good reason to take kids away.
B-but muh freedoms
Muh autism allegations with no proof
"The child died of an easily curable disease but the parents thought anti-vaccination was the best for their child so it's okay because they "cared"".

These idiots are literally putting their children and countless other children at risk, all because they can't be bothered to educate themselves.
Taking children away from them should be a final resort, but should happen if these fuckwads wont listen.

Not only that, most places now ask for your vaccination record aswell. From pre-schools to jobs that can take you outside of the country, they all require you to show you have your vaccines up to date.

I'd say watching your children slowly suffer and maybe even die of some stupid disease that could have been taken care of with a simple shot is even worse, and also extremely idiotic.

Correlation is not causation. Majority of people involved in this debate are Christians because the majority of the Western civilization is Christian. Majority of people involved in this debate are uninformed and frankly stupid soccer parents playing scientist and doctor.
If you're gonna take the kids away, just isolate the whole fucking family. Much less heartbreak that way.

That then creates a segregated society and even more problems form.
Your entire argument is based on the fact that these people do what they do BECAUSE they care.
<godwin>Hitler also did what he did because he cared about Germany. Doesn't mean he should've been tip-toed around.</godwin>
My guess of "measles are a plot by the Jewish reptile shapeshifters from space" was apparently wrong.
Anyway you're still on notice, space lizards. Just because you've converted to Judaism doesn't mean you're off the hook. I'm watching you.
My guess of "measles are a plot by the Jewish reptile shapeshifters from space" was apparently wrong.
Actually they are. Measles were created to scare us into taking mind control vaccine slave drugs as a part of the new world wide communist conspiracy gangster government.

I didn't mean it like that. I was talking about bible belt Christians, the ones that don't get their children vaccinated because "it isn't what God would want" and stuff like that.
Last year there was a measles outbreak in the Netherlands that began in the bible belt.

both are equally stupid as fuck groups of people
Anti vaccination believers are the closest thing that we have to Nurgle cultists I swear
