Avalanche Studios gathers reference material for future open-world games during recent trip. by Eddie Makuch on December 4, 2013 [t]http://static.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/1179/11799911/2395584-jungle.jpg[/t]
Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios traveled to the Costa Rican rainforest during spring 2013 to capture reference material for future games, the studio details in a new video. "The rich and uniquely diverse environment offered us a closer look at dense vegetation, beautiful skies, and flowing water, among other things," the studio said. Just Cause 2 footage is used heavily in the video, but Avalanche said the reference material collected during the trip--including jungle sounds and various images--will be used in "many" of the studio's upcoming open-world games.
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/just-cause-dev-travels-to-costa-rican-rainforest-for-research/1100-6416536/

Set in the future?!
Set in the future?!
The not-so-distant future past.
They didn't need to take slow motion footage of waves crashing, there are models that can do just that. But if they have the money, why not.
Just Cause 3 with a smaller map and a lot more things to do please
Just Cause 3 yessssssss
Would love to see once more lost references
Can we have multiplayer too?
What a great company. Caring about employees by showing us what they do, caring about the game, and the nature. :)
Pepper;43070742']Can we have multiplayer too?
http://www.jc-mp.com/keys/
Just Cause 3 please.
Multiplayer as standard please.
After the immense popularity of JC MP I should expect it to be standard
Just Cause 3 with a smaller map and a lot more things to do please
JC3 with same size map but with shit to do please multiplayer would be cool I guess
Hunt-able animals that I can grapple to cars and swing into things. [editline]4th December 2013[/editline] COMERE BEAR, LETS GO FOR A WALK IN MY JET PLANE.
Maybe their future game is taking photos of rainforest in various locations. They want people to get the authentic feeling.
Pepper;43070742']Can we have multiplayer too?
I'd actually prefer it if they keep it single player only. The modding community could probably produce a better multiplayer experience than integrated multiplayer. Can you imaging if JC2 was released with a multiplayer mode? It would probably support no where near the amount of players that can fit on a JC2MP server, it may have been locked down (no scripting, custom game modes, user hosted servers) and be riddled with microtransactions. There would also have been little motivation to create a multiplayer mod.

It's way too early to disregard avalanche and their ability to put multi-player into a game.
Let's hope the voice acting is better :v:
I recently started playing JC2 again, shit's fun with the unlimited grapple mod. Thing is I'm not sure what else they could do in a sequel apart from make the campaign not terrible.
I hope they took some notes in regards to what GTA5 did good in order to deliver a better game. Assuming this is JC3 related of course
Just Causta Rica
They should not do another tropical game Just cause 3: Berlin edition [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] They should not do another tropical game Just cause 3: Norway edition Idk just make it somewhere north and cold
Let's hope the voice acting is better :v:
no BOLO SANTOSI
WITH huntable animals
Go back to FC3
no BOLO SANTOSI
I feel as if the laughable voice acting was intentional, part of achieving the extremely cheesy action movie feel the game has.
