It didn’t go well. Donna Brazile, the interim leader of the Democratic National Committee, was giving what one attendee described as “a rip-roaring speech” to about 150 employees, about the need to have hope for wins going forward, when a staffer identified only as Zach stood up with a question. “Why should we trust you as chair to lead us through this?” he asked, according to two people in the room. “You backed a flawed candidate, and your friend [former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz] plotted through this to support your own gain and yourself.” Some DNC staffers started to boo and some told him to sit down. Brazile began to answer, but Zach had more to say. “You are part of the problem,” he continued, blaming Brazile for clearing the path for Trump’s victory by siding with Clinton early on. “You and your friends will die of old age and I’m going to die from climate change. You and your friends let this happen, which is going to cut 40 years off my life expectancy.” Zach gathered his things and began to walk out. When Brazile called after him, asking where he was going, he told her to go outside and “tell people there” why she should be leading the party.
And we all thought the Republican Party was the one that needed reform. Matter of fact, they could use some reforming as well.
Time to get Keith Ellison in there.
And we all thought the Republican Party was the one that needed reform. Matter of fact, they could use some reforming as well.
Both are in need of reform. The Republicans are so weak a candidate they didn't even want just walked all over the party and became President. The Democrats are so sketchy they tossed out a popular candidate for their predetermined candidate which made so many people mad that they refused to vote for her.
And we all thought the Republican Party was the one that needed reform. Matter of fact, they could use some reforming as well.
Everything needs reform at this point in time. Everything is being lead with such backwards and selfish ideologies and for some reason people are only now seeing it.
You and your friends will die of old age and I’m going to die from climate change.
Hence one reason why we need more young politicians at work. Nothing upsets a millennial more than an older person telling him to sit down because he's not experienced enough to have a valid political opinion when political decisions will affect the younger generations for much longer.

Damn, absolutely savage. This guy could get very popular and if he sticks with it, though tbh it just sounds like he's fed up. On that note, if you wanna reform the democrats and shape party strategy going forwards, nows probably the best conceivable time to get involved.
Huffington post, really? That headline is such bull. Looks like we've learned nothing. I absolutely agree we need younger candidates and the older DNC need to go. But if the DNC just start fighting each other like this? You'll lose the next one. Fucking hell. EDIT: you know, actually, I'm probably being too hard on the guy. Fuck, I don't know anymore. Feeling like my opinion doesn't make any sense to anyone.
Hes right though. If we dont get our shit together soon 2016 will look positively peachy compared to what we'll be going through. In our lifetime entire nations will literally disappear off the map. Large areas of every coastline in the world will be underwater. The fishing industry will collapse which will cripple several economies around the world.

EDIT: I just hope that anger is used constructively.

Younger people realizing how older people are really fucking things over for our future sometimes. Gotta give the guy support since he obviously knows what's going down.
He hit the nail square on the head with that one. Good on you, Zach. You tell it how it is!
IMO politicians should be forced to take classes on important topics so they can actually understand the issues going on. Being anti-science and ignoring evidence should also be grounds to be removed from office. We quite simply dont have the time to be fucking around anymore.
I mean at this point if we don't start making changes, it's gonna take some Hollywood-level disaster like war, a natural disaster, or fucking aliens to really get us to start thinking smart and working towards a better future.
I really wish the Bernie supporters would have called out the DNC's obvious corruption and primary rigging when it was happening. They were shunned and ignored by the media, and seemed to fall complacent. I could be wrong, but it seems like most of you guys went quietly into the night. :(

Theres a good chance that several major cities will have to be completely abandoned due to rising sea levels. By the time things get that bad the damage will be done.
And we all thought the Republican Party was the one that needed reform. Matter of fact, they could use some reforming as well.
The GOP got "reformed" by The Don, and the Democrats due to a humiliating loss, are bringing out the reformers to the surface. Trump's victory is forcing both parties' to change..

We fought hard at the state level.
Turn the whole DNC inside out. Light a fire and smoke out every fucker who allowed this to happen, who helped make it happen.
SO who are the dems actual leaders now that this is all said and done? Seems like this election ran them out of a lot of options.
Brazile was the one let go from CNN because she leaked debate questoins to the Clinton campaign. She can pls go and stay go. They weren't complacent. Do you not think it a bit cynical to propose this given your particular politics?
I stand for cooperation, but I will not stand for this "unity" if it means supporting only a wealthy elite and screwing everyone else over. Good on this man

Election season was upon us and I figure infighting would be worse than just letting fucking hillary through. I was wrong, obviously, but you know what they say about hindsight.
SO who are the dems actual leaders now that this is all said and done? Seems like this election ran them out of a lot of options.
It's in the air right now. Brazile is interim head since DWS stepped down. That guy was speaking the truth. Hilary, and her people, ran this thing as they saw fit. Besides Sanders, no one interfered with her...and she lost big. Clearly the Democratic party needs new blood and new vision, new leaders as well. I'd start with Sanders. He connected with people. He's the mentor that new Democratic leaders need to listen to. His policies, his message, should form the kernel of the new approach. The only way the same old/same old is going to work in the future is if Trump fails so badly that voters turn to the Democrats by default. That's certainly possible but I wouldn't bet the future of the party on it.

The corruption was obvious and people tried to call it out but you had the raiders who charged in to shout down and belittle anyone who dared bring it up.

[editline]10th November 2016[/editline] Sanders was pretty adamant about supporting Clinton.
Yeah, that was a big reason as well. I figured that the household name status would be enough to carry her to victory, but then she ran a wet fart of a campaign and people saw more in Donald, even though i think they're completely and utterly wrong. I honestly hope she never campaigns again, because I'm not sure I can forgive her for losing a race that I had chalked up as impossible to lose.
People used "Thanks Obama" as a lazy scapegoat, but we should legitimately make "Thanks Hillary" the new "Thanks Obama." :v:
