This thread is here as a info and discussion thread strictly for cigarettes. Cigarillo's are okay as well, but I will be covering cigarettes mainly.

There is ungodly high amount of different types, the most common I've seen is Marlboro blacks and reds.

Nicotine is addictive, so watch yourself if you do not already smoke daily.

Some are very harsh, some are smooth and there are just so much others.
You can buy cigarettes in packs, which typically contain twenty, and cost anywhere from two dollars to eight or nine dollars. Cartons contain around 10-20 packs of cigarettes.
Recently, in the last few years pictures on the packs will contain a rather disturbing image of say your lungs after 20 years of daily smoking.

To start this off, what do you smoke when you have nearly no money and what do you smoke when you have enough to buy what you like?

However, it has the same tobacco blend as the Marlboro Reds, which is quite surprising, considering that it can be considered as healthier than the original variant. This type used to be called Ultra-Lights but the renaming had to happen as well due to the 2006 US court ruling. Similarly, this is available in 100’s and king.

Non-Menthol Filtered Cigarettes
Non-menthol cigarettes with a filter are the most common type of cigarette. They come in two standard lengths, "kings" and "100's." 100's are longer, but often skinnier than king-sized cigarettes. They come in full flavor, light and ultra light varieties, the difference being the strength of the flavor.

Menthol Filtered Cigarettes
Menthol cigarettes come in the same sizes as non-menthol filtered cigarettes. The difference is that the tobacco is mixed with a substance called menthol, imbuing them with a minty flavor. There are full flavor, light, and ultra light menthol cigarettes as well.[/quote]

I don't really even smoke cigs, but when I buy cigars I get expensive ones.

Why am I dumb, cigarettes are only nice to me when I take Adderall or some pain killers. I haven't ever bought a pack in my life but I prefer newports or Marlboro blacks.

My all time favorite cigar is one of these, a Cojimar Rum, they taste so fucking good and they're soooo smooth you can actually inhale them (although the next morning you'll cough up some nasty shit).

Cigarettes are way too expensive, and a pack of rolling tobacco lasts forever. Nothing like smelling the tobacco, rolling it up perfectly, and then taking the first pull. Turkish blend is also really nice tobacco, unless you buy cigarettes or go to a tobacco shop.

I'm sorry, there is no increased chance of lung cancer when smoking weed. I'm not here to hate cigarette/tobacco smokers, but weed does not cause an increased risk for lung cancer.
People who smoke tobacco and weed have a less risk of cancer than those who smoke just tobacco - weed actually fights cancer. So please smoke weed with your baccy :v:

wow. packs in australia go for 16-30 AUD. pouch of tobacco is 8-15 or so for 30g's. rolling is the only way smoking here is viable for students who arent sponsored by their parents. It's the reason i dont smoke in australia

That's not what your OP says. OP says there's an increased risk of lung cancer no matter what you smoke. That's simply not true for cannabis. I'ma gtfo this thread now cause I'm looking like a cig smoker hater when I'm not trying to be, just trying to correct.

roll your owns are nice, but they get old after a while. I like to buy the RYO tobacco blends from the tobacco shop. My local one grows their own.

I don't smoke all the time, but I do smoke cigarettes when they are available or somebody offers. Sometimes I buy my own packs. I don't want to make buying them a habit. I am not addicted to them, but I can smoke the shit out of cigarettes. I can go weeks without smoking a single cigarette, but when they are there, I smoke them like I have a habit.

That said, I like cigars a lot more, but I have those very occasionally because they are expensive ($8-$12)

My buddy got me started smoking Black & Milds Wine flavor. Then another friend switched me over to Marlboro Smooths (which taste like a peppermint) and then anopther friend switched me over to Camel Menthol's which im still on. If i try to smoke a Black & Mild or Smooth It makes me wanna puke. Also i bought an electric cigarette which is 15mg of nicotine. That thing will hit ya real good.

Even if you smoke alot you won't do any permanent damage, but essentially your lungs just get tired so they don't work as hard.

god it makes me happy that you moved on from marlboro smooths. Those have got to be the worst cigarette in the world. For menthol, I usually go with camel menthol or newports. For regular flavor, I go with Marlboro no. 27

If you like 27's, try marlboro 54's, they're the menthol blend of 27's. Both of those are my current favorite regular/menthol

Best we've found for rolling joints with. Occasionally have a fag or whatever with it and it's not too bad.
Also, the little tiny packet of tobacco you get is cute, and fits really well in tins.
