It's not really worse than the ones before, it's just appealing to a bit different taste. Personally I like this as it's not blatantly over the top.

I just hope he'll cut down the cliches a bit, particularly guns making clickety noises every time they're moved around at all.

That's what I kinda think about a lot of his videos. I think it's weird a lot of the time because it's meant to be some elite military agent or something, and what we see is this slightly chubby Asian guy. Every time.
