A Baptist Church is planning on giving away an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle to one church-goer at an upcoming service, to "support" the gun owners and hunters in the congregation.
New York Pastor John Koletas has attempted to justify his bizarre giveaway by arguing that America “was built with the King James Bible and the gun" in a letter to his congregation
and the stereotypes keep going.

They even made a poster. :v:
I.. I just don't know how to react to these kind of things anymore.
Free gun is a free gun, can't go wrong with a deal like that.
People can blame video games, movies, books, music and the media as much as they like; but I think this sort of thing is the real instigator of the gun crime in America.
"Get a free gun with x!"
It's as if they give them away like coupons or toys. There needs to be proper restrictions and there needs to be amendments to the constitution.

The areas that have the highest gun crime would never, ever have a free gun giveaway.
In fact, free gun giveaways almost never ever happen, it's sort of a running joke that doesn't often see the light of reality.

And it's like one gun anyway, not like a bunch of them. They're probably going to speak about gun ownership and why they think it's important.

What did they do to that poor AR15?
Pastor Koletas, who has created the posters, is hoping the community will turn out in force to support gun owners, who he argues “have been so viciously attacked by the antichristian socialist media and antichristian socialist politicians the last few years."
wat
I'm not Christian, this is entrapment, or a crusade or something, I don't know.
I think I need an adult. D:
[editline]fuck you limed00d and your speed[/editline]
We still get a free gun even if we're not Christian, right?

Knew they were baptist before I even read the thread.

The person who gets this gun, most likely going to let it sit in safe for months at a time, until they go the proper designated shooting area (a range).
But fuck man, if you know a place where i can get a 2 for 1 deal you better start talking!
I was just listening to the news, the guy running the competition said that giving away a lethal weapon could actually save a life.
it could if someone stopped someone who was intending to murder someone else
it could if someone stopped someone who was intending to murder someone else
but then that person who was stopped could die
What did they do to that poor AR15?
It fires holy bullets...
The south "was built with the King James Bible and the gun"
Edited for accuracy. Thank god it's not the whole country.

Manifest Destiny.
What did they do to that poor AR15?
I'm assuming its because a pistol grip would make it classified as a terrifying baby-killing assault weapon, so they had to swap it out for a classic rifle grip to be compliant.
Jesus is my homeboy so I have to have a rifle for the end times so he can give me some cover.
Surprised the church is in New York, rather than any state in the south...

That's the quality of poster I'd expect to see at an elementary school.
Ahh Troy
Ofcourse this happens in the city of dreams. I should have attended this service :v:
An NY-legal AR15?
Eugh. No thank you. Those things are for schlemiels.
That sounds like something that protesters in Postal 2 would shout
Celebrate and honor our god, Samuel Colt
It shoots holy grenades that turns people into christians !
The perfect plan
