Fuck yes, I loved the first season.
Fuck yes, I loved the first season.
First seasons was amazing, I hope this one is just as good. :munch:
I can't wait!
The last cast was better IMO. They had a ex-USSR soldier, a mad scientist, a doctor, etc... This one is full of useless cast members, in the last cast every member had something useful to survival. But this one, a model? Geology professor? What are they gonna do? Go down a catwalk and build a stone house or something?

I have a guy who worked for Ratheon living on my block, a stock broker, a private plane builder, an unemployed bum with his unemployed wife, a carpenter/generic computer guy, and doctor. Now, most of them bring no qualities to survival; Maybe except the doctor and carpenter/computer guy.
Robert Deville looks like a photoshopped Hulk Hogan
Robert Deville looks like a photoshopped Hulk Hogan
Maybe it's a secret guest appearance.
Are there zombies/mutant-like enemies in this show? If I remember correctly, there were.
I liked the first one, looking forward to this one.
Are there zombies/mutant-like enemies in this show? If I remember correctly, there were.
No.. I think you're confusing this with another show.
George Willis - “The Industrial Artist” SKILLS: Metal working, mechanical effects, archery, fencing, SCUBA certified
General defense covered...
Robert Deville looks like a pimp
I love this show, I can't wait to see this. No one will be as good as Mike from the first season though...
I loved the first one! But I hope they will not bullshit such as: 1. Kicking a guy out from the show. that was stupid. 2.They added in some acted drama. I am sure. At the end when one of them said: DERP I STAY BAK TO HELP OTHERS, BECAUSE THIS IS REALITY NOT A TW SHOW HERP. And after that they show footage of him arriving in a hotel with the others. 3. How they will pull off the maraduers? In the first season it was okay that they did not know that they can't be harmed, but I'm sure that these guys atleast KNOW about the 1st seson. Otherwise, I am looking foward to it, never knew that you could power a car by burning wood, or cleaning water with charcoal and sand. Good to know.
The first one was directed :(
The Model girl may actually be useful to design improvised clothes, and seduce possible enemies or traders to get more supplies if you think about it.. And anyways fuck yeah I loved this show!

I liked the first season, it was kind of interesting, but it's just more reality show BS that discover is putting out, wish we could get off the fad.
They should put it on other Discoveries than just the US.
Awesome. The IBM scientist witch the crazy professor hair was so awesome. Especially when he started to wash himself in the rain naked, using only a sheet of plastic to cover himself. Just hope it will be a little less bullshit and more real though.
A little over a week till it starts
Last season John C. was fucking badass, with his huge beard and mad scientist hair. Also, he thinks like modern day Einstein. Even though this show is half directed and half real it still makes for a good watch, especially since you learn some survival stuff on the way.
Are there zombies/mutant-like enemies in this show? If I remember correctly, there were.
No. Only bandits.
This show just seems awful to me. They try to make it seem real, yet its so fake. If it was legit it would be a fucking badass show but you know its fake :(
This show just seems awful to me. They try to make it seem real, yet its so fake. If it was legit it would be a fucking badass show but you know its fake :(
Yeah, that was the problem I had with the show, I liked parts of it and it was an alright show though. But they paid so much attention t detail with every psychological aspect of it other than danger. The fear/danger element really isn't there, it just seemed so cheesy, they know the actors playing raiders can't do anything to them, and they really can't do anything to them other than yell and wave a lead pipe and then the raiders run off. And then at night, when the raiders came to "terrorize them" real scary, they come and rattle the doors and yell and rev their engines, or they get inside and instead of doing something that would really fuck with like carry a group member off into the night, they knock shit off shelves like angsty teenagers in a supermarket. Like I think they could make it so much better if they could simulate the risk of injury or the conflict that would be inevitable in a societal breakdown, not sure how, but I'm sure there's a way, or at the least make the raiders that would come mess with them tougher than last time lol. But all and all still a good show and I'm excited to see the new season.
Anywhere to buy the first season, or watch it online?
Honestly, if they did it right, it would be so much better if it was scripted. That way, they could do things that otherwise would look cheesy or to dangerous to be able to do.
Show starts tomorrow! Can't wait
This just in: the "enemies" can now hurt the survivors. I saw it in the trailer a second ago, I saw what looked like HAZMAT guys wrestling with the survivors, and a few bandits swinging poles at them.
