I'm pretty sure they are some movies or T.V. shows that deserve more attention than the other, but what is it?
No one seems to know this one, don't know anyone who's seen this one. It's called KidULTHOOD. It's a British movie. If you have Netflix you can watch it with ease. It's not on American television at all I think.
Look it up and watch it if you can. It's one of the best foreign film I've seen in a long time.
Movies:
Session 9
TV:
Fringe (Renewed for season 4 but still highly under-watched)
The Event (cancelled/suspended - One Season)
Moonlight (cancelled - One Season)

District 9 and Cloverfield
Life on Mars U.S. version

How on earth is District 9 underrated? It was well received.

I think most of people never saw or even heard about it, trust me.
Dinner For Schmucks. It got panned by critics, but I actually thought it was pretty funny and enjoyed it quite a bit.
Prison Break!
The Four Lions.
One of the funniest movies I have ever seen, and no one has ever heard of it.
Second Hand Lions, great movie.
Community, funniest show on tv!
I've started to get all my friends to watch it, most people just don't even know it exists which blows me away. It isn't like it hasn't been advertised, just that it seems to be disregarded.
Besides what has already been mentioned here, I'd have to say Durarara!
Synecdoche, New York. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about it or have the soundtrack stuck in my head. I'm the only person I know who's seen it :\
Movies:
Speed Racer (2008)
Shows:
I don't watch much TV so I can't really tell you anything under received.

that movie was weird
that movie was weird
Except for weird, i was really terrible. I didn't get the point, I mean, why did they use such a bad CGI? It looks like it was on purpose

I don't think their advertisement campaign really helped much. I saw a ton of adverts, and I am usually always willing to take a look at a new show if it looks even remotely interesting. But the ads just didn't really do anything for me.

The later seasons are perhaps some of the darkest scenes you'll ever see on TV.

I actuelly Loved speed Racer. The cartoony effect is a blowback to the old cartoon which i used to watch too

I didn't like it personally.

That movie isn't underrated, it was terrible dude. Wachowskis are hit and miss and that was definitely a miss.
