WARNING: WORD WALL EDIT: NOW WITH PARAGRAPHS I guess I should start from the beginning. I am a senior in high school, I met a girl at a dance, girl has boyfriend, girl cheats on boyfriend and sleeps with me. That's the short intro. I got a text from a friend saying that she needed a place to sleep for the night so I decided to be a nice guy and let her, her sister, her sisters 1 yr old, and her friend all stay at my house over night. While on my way to pick them up; I get a text from the friend saying that she was hanging out with the guy stated above and that he was threatening to kick my ass if I came there. I, being a bad ass, tell her that I'm not really worried about him and that I happen to be in a great mood and it's not going to be easy to start a fight with me. I pulled up to the house and I see the kid coming toward my car so i put it in park and wait. He walks to my door and opens it. He then says, "You can either get out of the car or I'm dragging you out but we're doing this right now." I laugh and casually explain to him that it is neither the time nor place to do this. The next thing I know he's pulling me out by my arm. That's where his winning streak ends. I get him in a headlock and take him to the ground and explain to him that i'm not letting go until he calms down. He starts to throw body shots that I don't feel at all due to a gratuitous amount of adrenaline. At this point all three of the girls are bawling their eyes out and pounding on the door of the girl from the dance. The girl's mother comes out and tries to pull me off of him and I tell her I'm not hurting him and that I'll let him go when he calms down. He breaks out of my clutch and ends up knocking over the woman (who happens to have severe knee problems and walks with a cane). I tell him it's done and I walk over to her and help her up. I get her up and walk towards my car and pick up a hat on the ground thinking it's mine. The kid starts at me again with a hand out I think he's accepting defeat and reach out to shake his hand(lol) he yells, "I'm not shaking your hand give me my fucking hat!" I laugh noticing my mistake and hand it back to him. From here i'm willing to just call it good and brush it off but he decides he needs to take it further and threaten my life as he's walking away with his little dignity that he has left with, "if I here another word from you I'm going to slit your throat" "OOOOOOOHH. You just lost your get out of jail free card kid." I yell mockingly. I call the cops and explain the situation. They send out three cop cars and 2 are circling the apartment complex while the other one stops to talk to me. We talk. I tell him what happened, give him my cell number and he gets in the car and drives off with out explaining anything. I'm not sure what i'm supposed to do at this point so I wait for about 20 minutes and he doesn't come back so I left with the girls. I call the police station today and give them my contact info so that I can get an explanation and I hear nothing for about 4 hours. The officer finally calls me back and tells me that he found the kid at his house and TALKED fucking TALKED with him for close to 2 hours and didn't arrest him or anything. My dilemma now is whether or not I need to press charges on his punk ass or not so now I come to you FP.

How do I go about doing this because the officer didn't really give me the option to do anything.

Call police and press charges? I've never had to do it but I think that's how it goes. Or you could sue him (for something). Also this is such common High School Drama lol. You guys will get over it once your hormones stop racing.

You won't really be able to press for much, unless the girl's family testifies that he threatened your life. Even then it's not really much of a worry if he isn't serious. Personally I'd drop it, it'd probably end up your word against his.

There was a LOT of yelling and several neighbors stepped out of their apartments to see what was going on EDIT: The girls he was with earlier said that he had a knife on him at the time so I consider myself lucky that he didn't try anything with it.

The op doesn't even say he did it on purpose.

Personally I feel like all high school relationships are silly, they're never serious and the thing that makes them so over dramatic is pretty much puberty the proof if that the girl cheated with OP meaning that she simply isn't mature enough to handle a long term relationship (adults cheat but lets face it some people never mature). Also eatdembeanz we can assume that the girls were of the same general age since they're in a relationship with OP so I wouldn't call her a "little girl". I don't feel like girls should be sheltered any more or treated any differently than men just because they have vaginas. EDIT: Riiight the one year old, well the good thing is that as humans we don't develop the recall part of our brains until a while after the first year so no traumatizing memories will come out of this and I'm pretty sure two wrestling teens aren't going to mess the kid up.

That's one way girls can get out of relationships with a clingy guy.
