It's a big cheat though, it's a purpose built car. Compare this to top fuel dragster: "A top fuel dragster accelerates from a standstill to 100 miles per hour (160 km/h) in as little as 0.8 seconds."

The video I put above is not a top fuel dragster, but a "street legal" drag car, which if I'm correct, Jeff Lutz runs either Methanol or regular high octane race gas when he makes passes. Top fuel dragsters run nitromethane as a fuel.
