Me Performing two songs at a show - General

Here's me drumming my ass off to Lady Gaga. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvhfucT4vUc[/media] And here's me drumming my ass off to Biffy Clyro. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOPsSo6FrTs[/media] Crowd was about 200 people, we had to organise this event completely by ourselves and also set up all the equipment. Overall a very fun night!

Try practicing with a metronome a little bit more. It helps, trust me. Both of the videos you had subtle, but noticeable, changes in tempo which really make your playing sound bad (Speeding up at the end of the two measures of cymbals at the first video, getting into the rhythm after fills, etc.). 30 minutes on a metronome every day for a week and you'll be fine. Good playing overall, though.

I enjoyed it though I'm not really a fan of the crash usage in Poker Face.

^ what he said, you're overplaying on some parts. Yeah, it sounds good, but it sounds obnoxious too, and when you're playing in front of the big guys, it's not going to help.

Ah, fair enough. Would sound cooler if you did something with the kick drum and toms and end it on the crash.

Yeah, just to clear that up, the "singer" is a drummer just like me, our college course had no vocalists at all. So to be fair to the guy, he got up on stage and gave it his best knowing full well he couldnt sing too good.

this made me cry. i played drums for 8 years and got a pearl export drumset but since 3 years i havent played a single bit on it.... i played last week and i sucked so hard.... fucking videogames.

At first I thought this was at my school, someone wearing the exact same cap played the exact same song on drums :tinfoil:
