Wow this would be great in vr.
This looks really fun, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price.
It seems a bit too procedually generated, personally.
This really is a cool ass idea for a fully fledged game though, I don't think any video game has really attempted to allow you to just straight up be a overpowered comic book Superhero, at least like this before, I'd love to see it with like, a shit load more polish.
After finishing the entire video, I changed my mind I think the price is fine.
This looks incredible and I need it.
I really hope I can go and nuke alien cities too
I finished this some few weeks ago, it's really thrilling and I had a stupid ass grin on the first couple hours. It was really cool just zooming in through space and Earth and getting new powers and upgrades after each invasion, but it starts to get boring and repetitive quick sadly. Particularly since how the enemy types are, it encourages you to play more carefully, which somehow feels too much of a restriction on having fun with your powers. It's not too long thankfully but I feel like a sequel with a more non-linear structure and sandbox would be more enjoyable.
Definitely worth a look at a sale though since the concept and novelty itself is worth experiencing.
for 18$ canadian this feels like a great game
i bought it on a whim, it's pretty great.

It was actually created for VR, however, so far only the PS4 version can be played in VR.
My cape is rock hard.
My only hope is that modding gets supported so that character skins and new powers/animations can be added to make it a real Superman game on the down-low.
Will buy it in a heartbeat when it's available for the Oculus. Assuming it will. The dev said on twitter there will be a big update in a few months.
It's also available on GOG.com, will probably wait for that update actually.
Well that sold me on getting this. It seems to have the main selling point of No Mans Sky, but without the over hype and the ridiculous price tag. All the reviews of it say it's really short, but for £12 I can live with that.
It seems a bit too procedually generated, personally.
yeah but it's the only way that you could really do it
it does it waaaaay better than No mans sky, the whole 'infinite universe' idea. the game 'Everything' captures the feeling well too
I'm kinda blown away by the fact that there's actually a fairly substantial amount of detail put into not just Earth, but the rest of the fucking universe. Did someone make a game out of space engine? I want this just to explore and find all the little details.
Why was VR removed for PC? Is it coming?
Holy shit, I'm kinda blown away by the fact that there's actually a fairly substantial amount of detail put into not just Earth, but the rest of the fucking universe.
If you want something that's literally just this times a thousand, Space Engine is great to fuck around in
It's got thousands of real planets / galaxies / stars in it, then procedurally generates the rest

And it looks fuckin pretty sometimes

Stab in the dark: Sony bitched and said they couldn't release their exclusive VR game on any other platform, so the devs worked around that by making it not a VR game at all.
I just played this game for two hours and had a blast for the entire duration, and I can't tell how much longer the game will be. This is well worth the price imo
The VR version on the PS4 is phenominal. Apparently its short, but the moments made are just amazing and really feels like a Superman game without Superman. Even the action in this game reminds me of Man of Steel. My only gripe is that there doesn't seem to be a "punch aliens into oblivion" option for powers, but the ones I have make up for it.

I can't see a Superman game ever being successful

IIRC the Superman Returns game was decent. (don't know if it made a lot of money tho.)
Yeah this game is pretty fun
Glad there’s settings to turn off the motion blur cos you can get sick easily from the high speeds
Holy crap, that game looks awesome and so large scale even though its procedurally generated. But I cant stand Nerd3s fake laugh and not that great jokes.

I don't think his laugh is fake. He's just always been like that.
Speaking of Nerd3 Super Best Friend's Mat and Woolie should totally play this.
Is there any mod to stop the kill counter? I want to see cities evaporated but the kill cam doesn't last long enough.
EDF or a sequel to Destroy All Humans should take notes from this.
