this video is interesting but it's also kinda of a uncanny time capsule. watching old east german videos on worn-out magnetic tape has this weird feel to it

Man, that part at 25:25 where they're cutting out the body panels with the band saw. That's both impressive AND terrifying. I wonder how many workers lost a finger or two at that station...

What other car has a 2-stroke 2-cylinder engine and has a body made of compressed cotton?
Funny how we still have these going around on the road where i live and yet i saw them in a museum when i was in the UK. Just saw one yesterday.
