The 76-year-old icon has no plans to appear in films again after a career spanning five decades. “Jack has — without fanfare — retired,” a well-placed Hollywood film insider confirmed to Radar. “There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss. Quite frankly, at 76, Jack has memory issues and can no longer remember the lines being asked of him.
[Source: RadarOnline]
"There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss"
Don't despair guys, he'd have forgotten he quit acting soon enough.
One of the best actors to have ever set foot on stage

Awhh Jacky :'[ Gonna go watch the old batmans now, just for good memories.
Christ, having memory loss that bad would drive me insane. Shit sucks, he's always been one of my favourite actors. But I guess time catches up.
Damn, that sucks.. I knew the day would come, but not quite so soon. I will miss him, he was really good.
That's a shame, he was one of my favorite actors. He was bound to retire soon though, he's been acting for quite a long time AXE MURDER KILL
Mannnnnn. I'm gonna watch Cuckoos Nest tonight. Nicholson is a brilliant actor.
This is a sad day for film and cinema. We're saying goodbye to one of the greats. It breaks my heart he has memory issues. That's just terrible.
damn thread title.. had me thinking those guys would unite to make a film. None of them really did a good last film which was kind of sad considering the strength of their careers.
Sean Connery is basically a skeleton right now.
dem eyebrows will never return to our screens, it's quite a sad time :( [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] guess the torch will have to be passed to the right guy, maybe this dude:
