The air intake behind the seat has a roll bar in it to protect against exactly that.

Already done it. My friends and I would charge from across the room and jump sideways into each other. This way we would just get propelled sideways and never really get hurt (except from maybe the fall). Avoids the crazy whiplash.

always amazes me how few people wear a helmet while on a skateboard or a bike. i never go on my bike without one. i've fallen off my bike before and escaped without being hurt because i wore a helmet. some people seem to think they're invincible.
