It hasn't been destroyed, people can still post things like this - It's just more and more people have become interested in pixel art, because of the fact that it's considerably easier.
To draw anything that good in MS paint usually requires a graphics tablet which a lot of people don't have, aside from the joke drawings. But again, people have gone off of this, don't you think that if pixel art is so popular that it has a bit of fun to it?
It hasn't killed the section, people can post these if they really feel the need, but people aren't as interested in it anymore.

You could start some contests or something.
It should have it's own section, and people are already trying to get one (Mainly the PW'ers)
MSpaint isn't canned quite yet.
Mod's are aware of our problem here and everyone involved with PW and pixel art know we have no issue with them, it's just crowding out the art threads.
We need more MS Painters and more feedback on art that gets posted. Encourage the artists here and improve your skills.

On the topic of the painters wanting thier own sub-forum, I'd suggest voting in that request thread I put up or messaging the forumfuhrers. If they don't help us out we will have to draw the PW threads away with art. Either way, the PW/Pixel artists are good for FP and should have their own space anyway.

I do agree that it has been destroyed though. Heh, I remember when this place was first made because creationism corner was sick of people using MSPaint. It was more like the OIFY back then though.
